Update Strohbehn
Well after a night of checking the girls every few hours... we have nothing to show for it. Can see where wax was, and all over their legs... but they were probably having a hormonal surge and preparring us. Rosa says they are waiting for Em to get totally caught up I think they are just reading Betty's darn books! 1st oven timer went off for them to go to How to Drive Owners Nuts chapters.

Spook, can still drop off the sides a bit to be ready. All the mares are miserable, but evidently not enough yet. They will be going out today for awhile. Supposed to get ice and snow later today and through tomorrow.

Guess I will wait until they are doing a bit more than waxing and playing with us going

Update KB Hilltopstables
Thats what they wanted. LOL I still have to feed them there grain. Nifty was at gate like come on already i want in. And Siera is like i want out. But Doug said no more outside now. He wasn't real happy i had them out yesterday. Told him then you come and live with that mare. LOL That shut him right up. It is still just me here as Rosa is at Dar in hope to see a foal real soon. Hope the Ice don't come tonight as Doug needs to come and cast Lana's leg. So if i does he will wait until Wed. Merry might be on tonight to post she had so much to get done today and i think the first thing was a shower for herself. LOL Well i hope everyone had a nice day and now have a very good night. As of right now i didn't see anything new with Nifty and Bob other then wanting in today. (((HUGS))) to all.

Got in my banamine today so now that I have 3 bottles here, you know those mares are not going to do anything.

I think they were giving a practice run last night. Just to give us a taste of what is coming. What chapter or book of Betty's was that in?

Today Em and Spook were hanging with Betty in the pasture. Wonder what they were talking about? Annie kind of stayed off by her self, and so did Gigi. I think they were talking about the 1st timer going off for the Baking class.

Bath and a good book sound good tonight. If anything changes, will let you know. I did take away their Karate Kid movie of Wax on .. Wax off... I don't know why they like that part so well.

that's my girl! Just a dot of wax.. she still needs to drop off sides to me.

Em... No Butt, having problems figuring out what her legs are supposed to do at times.... No wax.

Gigi ... MOODY... and looked to be very little wax on both hers. Not milky or anything, and she stomps those back legs and swishes that tail like a weapon. Stop looking dang it!

Annie... nipples are full, no wax, but stuff all over her legs from laying down and leaking. Hair all over teats.

Well if anyone goes, which I doubt...(okay girls make a liar out of me please!) do not except to see us rushing to the barn. Knowing our luck... would fall and break something.... or hit head and knock sense into it!

Yep on the couch and checking during the night.

Ice every where out there. Came back with my salt bucket and put salt down heavy. I still see no wax but it is 2005 and anything goes with the mares. I will keep a eye on them tonight. Bob not real happy tonight. Both Bob and Nifty better look out the way they look there foals could fall right out.Nifty never waxed the last time so who knows. They are both ready to go now it is up to the foal to want to come out. Long night here. As Me said she was going to bed and myself said same thing so it is up to I to keep a eye on them tonight.

WE ARE BRINGING OUR SECOND MARE IN A STALL TODAY. MEGAN IS THE DAM OF WALDEN HILL WALLSTREET DESIGN. MEGAN IS DUE TO FOAL MARCH 6 BUT LAST YEAR SHE LOST A BEAUTIFUL FILLY, IN THE SACK AT 301 DAYS IN FOAL. WE DON'T KNOW IF THE FOAL WAS STILLBORN OR WHAT HAPPENED. MEGAN HAD NO MILK BAG WHEN SHE DELIVERED WHICH MADE US THINK THE FOAL DIED AND THEN DELIVERED BUT WE WILL NEVER KNOW FOR SURE. WE WILL BE WATCHING HER VERRRRRY CLOSELY THIS YEAR!!!

WE WOULD BE SOOOO HAPPY TO GET ANOTHER FOAL LIKE BROKER!!!

MEGAN IS A SORREL MARE AND ON THE BARN CAM IT MAY BE HARD TO TELL WHICH IS WHICH THOUGH SHE AND SWEET PEA TRULY LOOK NOTHING ALIKE. I WILL KEEP YOU ALL POSTED ON WHAT IS GOING ON WITH EACH MARE. SWEET PEAS HAS NOT STARTED TO FORM A BAG YET SO FEEL SHE WILL BE HOLDING TRUE TO THE END OF THE MONTH DATE. THE GUESSING GAMES WILL NOW BEGIN. WE USE EVERY TOOL AT OUR DISPOSAL TO TELL WHEN THE MARE IS READY TO FOAL AND STILL MAY BE TOTALLY SURPRISED WHEN IT ARRIVES EARLY OR LATE.

Update Missy:
Missy is progressing faster....
than I thought she would. Her udder is very full and the teats are starting to fill in a bit now too. I can get yellow fluid from them quite easily. I was sick all day so I did not get the distilled water I need to start testing it, I will do that tomorrow. She was pretty restless last night, rolled and kicked her water bucket off the wall and her door latch off. I will keep an eye on her
