Cookie surprised me this morning with a little stud colt. He wasn't in the stall @ 5 am chores, but at 7 when the alert woke me he was already standing in his stall. This is Premiere's first foal. Not really sure on the color yet. He could be a perlino pinto like his maternal granddad or a palomino pinto.

I've put them in Passion's stall and Passion is in the stall behind her.

Blue, at Hidden Acres Foxtrotters... Due 3/22

If anyone would help me keep watch on Blue tonight, it would be greatly appreciated. I will be working the next 3 days, 6am to 6pm, at a factory that involves operating machinery, so simply cannot go to work on very little sleep....*sigh*

Blue has to be getting close~ she was due March 22nd, and is difficult to tell when she's ready because she typically does not wax beforehand.

She has been acting different the last couple days though~ grumpy, standing in usually ignored places in the stall, lying down/getting up again on rare occasions, and doing a lot of shifting her weight around. She's also been rubbing her sides on the stall walls.

Her muscles around her tailhead are finally relaxed enough to foal.

A bit about Blue... She's 23 years old, and this is her 4th foal. All have been colts, and I'm hoping this one will be my long awaited filly. She usually produces rather small foals, so never looks hugely pregnant at foaling time.

We are running our cam with aol dialup service, which as most of you who have ever used aol probably know, tends to boot you off.

Ruby is at 327 days as of April 3. She is about 90-95% Bagged up. She is special to us as she is out of my two first Purebred Arabian horses. I no longer own them or Ruby, but her owner leased her out to me on breeding lease. This is Ruby's second foal ever. With her first one she did not bag up until after giving birth. This time around she has been slowly bagging up since end of Feb. Since we do not know her normal foaling time range we are starting to barn her to night.

She will be on foal cam between 7pm-10/11pm. Once closer cam will be left on through out the night. Our mares are out side during the day.

Hi Everyone,

We had more thunderstorms last night which caused us to have problems with a couple of the Gypsy cams. Everything is back up and running tonight.

I wish I could say that we have some real changes with Pollyanne....no such luck. She is still just about the same. Her due date is only three days away so maybe she will get busy.

The babies are all great and having so much fun together. I really need to get pictures of Tootsie's baby and get them on the website. Maybe I will have time to do that tomorrow.

I will start bringing Franchesca in at night very soon. She is the next Mini mare due to foal. She really doesn't like being inside. She likes to come in, go to her stall, eat and go back out. She is usually restless for a few nights when we first bring her in at night. I want to get her all settled down in the foaling stall before it is time for her baby to be born.

On cam now is Faith, the sorrel mini, and her buddy Ebby, the black mini. Faith does not like to be alone and I don't want her getting stressed at this point. She is not due until 4/22 if you count 330 days, but she has somewhat clear milk already and so I'm thinking she could go any time now.

Faith lays down flat to sleep, so don't get alarmed just because you see her laying flat out.

Faith is bred to my palomino stallion, Boones Little Buckeroos Tiny Tim, and this will be my first foal from him so I am waiting anxiously. I am in the process of finishing the nursery (foaling barn) and getting the cameras working up there.... so hopefully within the next few days the scenary will change and there will be more light in the stalls.

Hi Everyone here's another from Glen Hills the home of the famous Suerte.

Moonstrider Della is a Diamont daughter out of a Prinz Gaylord mare.
She will eat anything and everything. She takes her eating seriously.

This mare has had many lovely foals and we are anticipating a fabulous foal In the beginning of April.
She is being bred to Rosenthal so the color choices are bay or black.
Foal will be International Hunter Futurity

Dakota is on cam now.
She is not due until the 23rd but has progressed so much more than our mare that was due next. We have decided to put her in the big foaling stall, so hopefully she doesn't fool us w/ her early signs. Her bag is getting pretty big and she has already started to relax in her backend. She did foal 12 days early a couple years ago. She has a history of producing an umbilical cord way too big and when the cord breaks the vessels inside it retract and have caused 2 of her foals to die from internal bleeding. We have been blessed the last 3 years w/ live healthy foals. Three yrs ago we were able to catch her foaling due to the camera and cut the cord and clamped it so the vessels wouldn't retract. The past two years she tricked us and foaled w/ out anyone home and showed no signs. She foaled in the middle of the day around noon and after. I hope she waits until the evening to foal because it still worries me about the foals umbilical cord. We have clamps and try to always be ready. So hopefully we'll have another great year w/ her. This will be her 6th foal. She's had all black foals that eventually turned gray. She is a very good mother and usually pretty good about us being around her foals.
Any extra eyes would be greatly appreciated. Especially during the daytime hours.

Kyra en Catrin van Marije. Verder niets. Mijn pc heeft problemen op het ogenblik. Hij stopt soms zo mee. Vanacht al en vandaag ook al een paar keer. Software matig is er niets aan de hand, maar ik denk dat de pc bezig is met het begin van het eind, maar dit zorgt er wel voor dat ik niet te eel cams tegelijk aan heb staan. Ik ben bang dat het er toch iets mee te maken heeft.
