Ok, so Bill and Susan didn't really call you sleepy heads......that was my idea! ROFL
Here's the latest.....TONS of wax. She has had several periods of pacing, Susan said there were some contractions now and then and they both feel it will still be sometime tonight. As a rule, Frosty does not get to this point and then hang on for a super long time but as we all know, habits can change with each pregnancy.
If anything else develops we'll try to let you know.

Ok, so she's a gelding. A really fat, sweet gelding.
Just kidding, but Frosty certainly is taking her own sweet time with this one. Different than the others. She is in labor, but not pushing and has not broken water yet. She seems to really like it when we are in the stall with her, almost being pushy she's so clingy. And she's never pushy! If you let her she will lean on you or hang her head on your shoulder and also is putting her muzzle right up to your face and breathing in your breath. We've had periods of baby shifting, contractions, pacing and pacing and pacing, lots of head tossing, Flehman's Posture (not sure I'm spelling that right; I'm talking about the lips open like a yawn, stretched up in the air) and she is ready. Everything's a "go" except the baby is not here! LOL Fortunately the dripping milk is not streaming so we are hopeful the foal will still have plenty of colostrum to drink when it's born to transfer those good antibodies. We will test the foal the day after it's born with an Igg to make sure. Thank you for your company Buddies. We are simply staying up tonight!
