Positief zien, jongens. Die merrie is echt niet vergeten. Laten we hopen dat ze nu heeeeel intensief met het veulen bezig zijn en dat het helpt, smile.

wat duurt dat lang. maar als ze nu het veulen op temp hebben, kan het zichzelf dan wel warm houden?

wat erg zeg voor Rusty Acres farm

So Far this year has gone terrible for all of us at Rusty Acres Farm. You all know about Bella, and some may know of Rosie's terrible hip dystocia resulting in the death of her colt. Kate delivered a healthy filly, beautiful little filly we named Charm. She was charcoal grey pinto, with roaning. She was doing wonderfully. I had left for a few hours yesterday and when I came hope, she was listless, would not nurse. She had Neonatal Isoerythrolysis, similar to the human Rh factor syndrome. She passed away last night at 11:00. Who could've thought the year would be so bad?
Today the vet comes. We are putting our heads together and figuring out what is going on. I will be stripping the mare and foal stalls, moving mares around and we will then be back on cam. Do Si is up next.
