Dan zit ze al vroeg aan de drank om 18.50 uur, maar ik zou er niet gek van op staan te kijken Haha!

Volgens mij zag ze gewoon een stukje staart.

Classy is sweating early evening, which is sometimes a sign of early labor, and packing her tail (carrying it slightly away from herself) more than yesterday. She is almost completely bagged, extremely soft and sunken around the tail, swollen under the tail. She could go any time!

Sigh- looks like it is going to be a make us wait for baby year.. Icy is sooo ready. Teats are full, no wax, has NO butt left.(wish I lost my butt when I got pregnant) So now we wait..

Update Piper:
Piper is next up. She's at 311 days today and is due 3/6. Her bag is full and tight, but we're not getting much on the milk side. She gave us a tiny bit tonight, but not enough to test correctly. She has some relaxing to do in the tail set, but the vulva is elongated, relaxed and red. We'll be keeping an eye on her.

Brandi has been moved to Piper's old stall and is on the refreshing cam. The picture isn't the greatest, and I promise I'll work on that. We are definitely calling the baby Pepsi as that is the only thing we can get my dad to take by mouth at this point. He is refusing to eat and only wants Pepsi, so that name means alot to me right now. We'll keep working on the rest of the name, we're also considering Pepsi Blue as the baby has blue eyes. Not crystal blue, but definitely blue. I hope they stay. Blue is also daddy's favorite color, so it seems fitting.

Saturday Evening Update, Change in Ms Dix........
she went backwards! She's now testing a firm 4 on the strips. Her fluid is so thick that I now can't hardly get the bubbles out to test. She certainly has me confused this year. Everything says she's ready except for her bag and the strips.

Even though she is testing 4 on the strips we are watching her constantly. My instincts told me based on her fluid and physical appearance she would foal this weekend. The bag just hasn't done like it normally does yet.

Update Abby:
Hi everyone, Abby will be in the stall for a few days while Stripers is outside. Abby likes to hide on the left side of the stall. She does come out of hiding occassionally. If she keeps this up we may move the cam next week so you all can view her better.

WELL WE ARE ARE GETTING CRANKED UP FOR ANOTHER MARE STARE SESSION.
WE HAVE FOUR MARES DUE IN MARCH. CURLEY SUE (RED/WHITE PINTO) DUE 3/23; BRIGHTSIDE (GRAY) DUE 3/24; SABRINA (SORREL) DUE 3/25 AND DINAH (BLACK/WHITE PINTO) DUE 3/28. ALL FOUR WILL BE HAVING THEIR FIRST FOAL! THE CAMERAS WILL BE SWITCHING ACCORDING TO WHAT IS HAPPENING AT THE TIME.

WE ALL KNOW THAT MEANS ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN BECAUSE THEY DON'T KNOW THE RULES.

SABRINA IS ALREADY FORMING A BAG!!! WILL SHE GO FIRST?? MAYBE, MAYBE NOT. IT WILL BE FUN, IT WILL BE EXCITING, IT WILL BE DRAINING. BY THE TIME THEY ARE ALL BORN WE WILL BE WORN OUT I'M SURE. HANG IN THERE WITH US, WE NEED THE MORAL SUPPORT.

Update Cruella:
As you may have seen, we had Kirsten out tonight to check both Crue and Bobbi. I always say, "WHEN IN DOUBT- HAVE THE VET OUT!" As you know, Crue has had signs of foaling for a few days now and some of her reactions and signs have been strong. Yet...no progress. I had Kirsten check her and the foal is not quite in the position it needs to be in, but on the positive side, it's alive and can easily get in position when it needs to. Diagnosis? CRUE IS A PAIN WIMP! Kirsten went on to explain how some mares have an incredible tolerance for pain. She's examined some mares with twisted guts so bad that they had to be put down, yet hardly flinched...and other horses with tiny gas bubbles that rolled around in agony. We all know people the same way. And all of us women know that MEN are the BIGGEST pain wimps. Crue is just a pain wimp and she's over reacting to the discomfort of her pregnancy. I'll SAY! My gosh, I've watched her for the last couple of nights kick the walls out of her stall with both back feet flying repeatedly. CRUE?! Jillian's spoiled brat. We also had Kirsten check Bobbi. The foal is still alive and Kirsten says, "just keep doing what you are doing." Once we get closer to her official due date we will wean her off the Regumate. SO...there you have it. When will Crue go? We still don't know. Yes, she is close. How close? From her actions I'm not so sure we can tell since she is now officially the barn DRAMA QUEEN. So, I'll be up tonight....just incase the examiniation may have stimulated her to actually make some progress. Concerned that she might also react to "after cramps" I did get some "stuff" for Kirsten that may help with foal rejection should that happen and for her pain. Hopefully, none of that will be necessary.
I also checked Meg tonight. She's got some great colostrum going on, but from what I could see still yellow and a bit thin...and it was still salty. So while she is close...not yet.
It ain't over till the fat lady sings...and Crue is singin' the blues for now.

I DO BELIEVE HER UDDER IS INCREASING IN SIZE. IT IS DIFFICULT TO TELL WITH HER AS SHE DOES NOT PRODUCE A LARGE UDDER. TONIGHT SHE WAS CONSIDERABLE SOFTER AROUND THE TAIL. HER TEMPERATURE IS STAYING AT 99.8.

SNICKERS IS GOING TO BE A "CATCH ME WHEN I'M DOWN" DELIVERY. SHE MAY GET REAL UNEASY. THIS IS HER SECOND FOAL SO WE DON'T REALLY HAVE A PATTERN TO CONSIDER.

I HOPE YOU HAVE BEEN ABLE TO LOG INTO THE BARN CAM. YOU WILL NOTICE WE ARE STREAMING TO WEFOAL. IN A LITTLE WHILE WE WILL HAVE THE REGULAR BARN CAM BUTTON WORKING AND NOT THE WHITE BOX AT THE BOTTOM OF THE BUTTONS. HOPE THIS WORKS BETTER FOR YOU.

Update Butter & Fanny:
Low alert on Butter...
Anytime now. Im not sure what, if any waxing she will do. Her milk isnt in yet. So maybe a day or two, as the teats are filling. She went ALONG time waxing with her first baby. But the baby was stuck and couldnt get in position. (very much like what happened at FNB with Honey). So, her body may try and deliver a little earlier this time. But, leave too long, and you may miss it!

Fanny, making progress. And right behind butter, but looking like she will make her due date next weekend.

Update Red & Dunny:
Well red has a little wax.. again... but hey.. she has been doing this a bit & going at us. Just because she is .. by 1st breeding date until midnight here.. 348 days & 346 by LBD .. which at midnight .. moves up a day... probably does not mean a lot to her. Maybe I should be talking to that baby instead? Her body is so ready, a good fart would have it out! Wonder how long she will keep us watching her practice sessions? She does have some good ones.

Dunny... Not much of hip on her either. Loras said she had wax yesterday, and none today. We have been cracking up with Dunny. She thinks that lickkit ball should be a rubbing ball or post thing. She has been trying to rub on it, letting it roll all over her, and backing into it. We do NOT want her to get a hold of Betty's books!

Update Eclips:
There is none. EClips' udder really hasn't changed much in the last 24 hours. I gave her some belly hugs to be sure there is still fetal movement. I really do believe the foal has moved into position. It's been much quieter. There is movement but was farther back than it has been. That's good news.

Ok baby... time to come out and play with us now.
