Missy Ok, just checked Missy, and we have Wax! Both teats have wax, yeaaa! Her bag is really tight, and tender. I wrap her tail (badly I might add, she hates to have her tail touched.), with hot pink wrap, so we can clearly see if somethings popping out. lol. Again, I am not saying she will go, but she could. So watch at your own risk, lol. Thanks, Taylor http://wefoal.com/_2007/30373532/cam.htm
Solano I still don't see way thing new with her tonight. All ready but no wax and yes i know she don't have to have wax. But she likes her hay to well yet. http://wefoal.com/_2007/30373533/cam.htm
Dolly @ Rockin' B Paint She is WAXING! Could go within 24 hrs. You might want to squeeze her cam on your puter too. http://www.marestare.com/rockinb.htm
Brooke Today will be the day. Mark my words. As of 4:20 am, Brooke had large globs of wax on each teat. I decided it would be prudent to get that day's hay down and muck her stall out incase she went earlier in the day. She tends to have her "down" times during the day...mid morning, early afternoon, 11:00 pm and then 2:00 am. I suspect if she stays true habit and the barn is not disturbed too much during those times, that's when we may see some action. One thing for sure, Jillian IS going to see this birth and she has her camera on standby. I am still quite concerned over Brooke but she does seem to act better today...more like a pregnant mare about to deliver than a mare in distress. If there is ANY inkling of trouble, Kirsten will come. At this point it's a wait and see game. You can bet, other than chores I won't be far from a monitor today. Let's keep our fingers crossed for a FILLY! http://www.sawyercreek.com/page5.htm
Lou @ Rockin Fox Farms nic of time! Lou is bagged up and she's showing just a bit of wax on one teet. So her time is drawing near. Now be patient with the service they are working deligently to get us all fixed up. And I've been told the server will be down to add a new firewall later today. But then we're good to go. And I think go we will. So happy watching!!! http://www.marestare.com/rockinff.htm
We had the Vet out today (1/11) & had her palpated & the Vet said the foal has not yet moved back in to the birth canal. So it appears foaling is not imminient, but then who knows??? Her last & only date bred last year was January 26, as she was inseminated once with cooled semen from the AQHA stallion POWER TO IMPRESS.
Anyway, she will be a full year on January 26. Sure hope she decides to have it before then. Meanwhile, she continues to go in to her pacing "frenzies" every so often. Do not be alarmed.. it's when she lays down & is quiet that we pay closer attention.
ALSO: I've had several folks inquiring as to her breeding: Fudge, whose APHA registered mare is TRIPLE FUDGE - is 10 years old.. a chestnut solid paint bred ... & I have been told by her owner that she has had at least 1 foal before this one. This mare is sired by the AQHA stallion DONT SKIP THIS CHIP by ZIPS CHOCOLATE CHIP. Her dam is the registered APHA sorrel/overo mare SHES TRIPLES LADY by TRIPLES IMAGE.
