En hier is ie dan deel 2 : Zie inmiddels door de bomen het bos niet meer dus stop weer even met updaten voor vanavond. Hoop dat jullie er wat aan hebben! Blijf natuurlijk nog wel staren
Deel 2:
http://www.marestare.com/stormyacres.php Mystic is now testing a 1000 on her calcium level, bag is full and firm, teats are down. Inside a dark pink. If she follows the other mares she could go after midnight, Thursday seems to be the foaling day here! She was out in the yard and my husband left the gate to the donkeys open and she bolted into their pasture, wow for a heavy bred mare she can move! The chase was on, they didn't want her in their space and she was having the time of her life keeping just out of touch. So maybe after that little adventure she just may do something tonight, I can hope any way. She was showing signs it may be tonight before her adventure, so we shall see So we wait and watch!
http://www.marestare.com/mistymoonthree.php Fudge had some odd behaviour this afternoon. I got a call from a fellow marestare addict - that she was circling her stall and then layed down - then got up right away - about an hour later she did the same thing. She is so huge - and her bag is so hard (you would think that would be painful). So maybe she is feeling like she should pop this baby out soon. Starbrite has to go soon too - her bag is bigger - but not full (but that doesn't mean anything with her!!!). She can't get much bigger either!!!! Precious - well - she should have been outside today - her bag is smaller tonight
http://www.marestare.com/brookhaven.php Continuing to shuffle through the mares! Next up is Fallen Ash Eagles Second Symphony. Symphony is a maiden mare, in foal to Secret and due Mid April, but she already has a pretty full bag, especially for a maiden, so I think she's going to go soon. She is a little ditzy, so I'm not even going to try to test her milk and am asking for extra eyes to watch her. Being a maiden, there's no telling what signs, if any, we may get. She is real close which is why I really want to keep an eye on her.
http://www.marestare.com/showdown.php I think that if its not tonight it will be tomorrow night. She is pacing, very soft in the hips, swollen and long and I think she is starting to wax. From the other foal she had, she never really waxed much. She has been biting her sides and pooping a lot. All the signs are there but the pushing. Now if she would just start doing that we will have a baby. I am going to bed early just in case I get a phone call....
http://www.marestare.com/whistlemulti.php Since there isn't a topic for Charm already I'm opening it... Right now she's on 322 days, her bag is slowly getting bigger, but there is not much to tell about her foaling history... This will be her 5th foal, but all of her foals arrived between 325 and 345 days... This is not the kind of mare that always foals around the same time... Last year she tricked us for more then 3 weeks, every night she showed the same ritual, as if she could foals within minutes, and then she went to sleep in the middle of the night... Even very experienced horse people thought every night that she would foal... That cost me a lot of sleep... Right now she's still pretty relaxed during the evenings.... At this time there is still not much to tell about Grace, last weekend she was acting strange, right now she's just being herself... Today she's at 320 days, last year she foaled at 320 and the year before she foaled at 325... We're getting closer, her bag is growing slowly, her tail end is weaker, now we have to be patient...
http://www.marestare.com/funnyfarm.php Howdy everyone.Well Missy is still baking this lil one so it should be well done when she decides to share it with us. Sure hope it's soon! Poor girl is so uncomfy when she lays down. When she does lay it's only for a few minutes at a time now so her legs are starting to look like stove pipes.
Now, Layla absolutely hates being up in a stall so I don't bring her up for watching until she is REALLY close. Once I bring her in she has to stay in....if I put her up at night and then turn her out for the day....she has a huge temper tantrum when I bring her back in.....it is better for her to come in and just resign herself to her fate
