Hallo allemaal..iedereen buiten ?
Shanza is testing 3 1/2 - making progress « Thread started on: May 25th, 2005, 7:40pm »
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, her bag is big and she's testing 3 1/2 squares, so we're finally making some progress. Maybe this foal will show itself before the end of the month....
Update van Freelands...Joanie hebben er veel van ons toch ook zien bevallen vorig jaar? Ze wordt dus nu weer...spannend!
Hi Everyone,
Wow what a night last night! Two beautiful babies and nice easy deliveries. Both mamas and babies are doing great and have been outside enjoying the sunshine and mild temps today.
Romeo is much better and his temperature has been normal all day long without the help of any meds. We don't have the blood work back so we still don't know for sure if it was heat related or something viral. Whatever it was, I am just so happy that he seems to be past it and doing really well.
Now on the fun part...Joanie is testing 4.5 squares on her milk strips this evening. Last year she was dripping milk the afternoon that she foaled. If she follows the same pattern, she won't foal tonight but I think we are getting very close. I am very anxious to see her foal this year. Karma is Joanie's filly from last year and we absolutely love her. It will be so much fun to watch Romeo and another baby playing together.
If you happen to see Joanie foaling and don't see us, please give us a call. Our number is 870-862-4424. You have all been so great to help us watch the mares this year and the phone calls have been appreciated.
I have Shoshone back on cams 3 & 4. I do not see any changes in her but she will foal one of these days...just don't know when that will be.
I hope you are all having a good week. I'll update you tomorrow or sooner if anything is changing. Thanks for being with us.
Joanie, one of our Gypsy mares, is testing a fast five on her milk strip test. Her bag is huge and tight. We have moved Romeo and Jordan to another area to give her some privacy. She is on cams 7, 8, 9 & 10. I am hoping that she will decide to foal under her shelter where we can get the best camera view.
I'll post any new updates on the message board.
I hope you can join us as we wait for the arrival of Joanie's baby.
