Hoop dat alles goed komt met het veulen dat het overleefd heeft van de tweeling.

Got up @ 5am as no kidding my husband took care of everything told me to take a shower and I just crashed. I had not even eaten all day. I of course am still very sad but the prayers here and even out loud on Marestare mean the world to me and Chevy is doing way better to be expected and I know why.
It will be a long day but I will keep you posted on her and the vet will be back out to flush her and make sure all is well but she is itching for some grain and talking to me so I know she is feeling good. She does not even seem to know she had a foal with all the trauma and that is a good thing. We will probably put her back in the small pasture if all is well today as there is nothing better for her then to be with CC and move around and eat green grass

Chevy is doing absolutely awesome. I just brushed her and fed her and she is flying around wanting to go out and be in the pasture with her buddy. She does not have too much discharge, her vulva is pretty swollen but considering all that happened she is in great shape. The thing you said that just made me wonder something...the whole time she was in and before she went into labor I kept commenting on how much she pooped but she did not pee but once and one big one..she did not do all the normal little pees here and there that most of them do..maybe something to reference for future use??

The prayers are the only reason she is alive and doing way better than she should..she is an awesome mare that is for sure. Wish someone around here needed a nurse mare..she is streaming milk all over..LOL

Remember never ask why me, I have no bitterness just sadness..this is just how it goes sometimes and something good will come from it as God tells us it will. Again thank you for all the prayers. All is well.

I did go in and give Chevy some Penicillin/Banamine and an Oxytocin shot and she is still standing quietly..good thing. She does have a puddle of mile under her though..trying to find a baby that might need a Mom
