als ik ze dan nog mag laten dekken (nog een keer.. in ieder geval Vanilla... we hebben er 8 waaronder 1 gecastereerde ram)

Over Misty:
Ik neem laptop mee naar boven you never know zuignapjes zijn wat meer gevuld. Ben bij vroeggeboorte niet super bang dat het veulen wat mist o.d, maar na te horen van het fjordenveulen slaat die angst wel even. Gelukkig geeft Misty erg veel voer wat ze krijgt door aan het veulen, maar je weet maar nooit. Liever tussen 1 april t/m 30 april Haha!

Vorige Nikita was op 30 april, maar was niet uitgerekende datum Knipoog

(Preciese uitgerekende datum kan ik niet terug checken) en dat was 2 jaar terug. Een jaar terug op 30 april heb ik Fabi thuis gekregen Haha!

Zo op commando kusje (gaat niet helemaal goed nog) en dan gaat ze met haar lip aan m'n wang kriebelen... ach wat is dat toch ook een lieverd jammer dat we haar niet drachtig krijgen.. ze zou zeker een goeie moeder zijn.

Geen gecastereerde Tong uitsteken

Mag ze ook niet allemaal laten dekken dan krijgen we er teveel en konijntjes zijn lastig vanaf te komen niet dat ze meteen weg moeten genoeg ruimte, maar toch. Daarbij is opperkonijn al 5 en echt te oud voor jongen Haha!

Update Curly Sue:
Well, I watched Curly Sue long enough to get anxious! She is due today and has a small bag and is rather soft around the tail. Nothing would just shout "it's time to foal" but being a maiden I am not comfortable ignoring some strange things she has done today. So, I got out of my PJ's and back into my clothes and went to the barn and gave her a good brushing, a tummy clip and braided her tail. I put down a light covering of hay and put a halter moniitor on her. Now for sure she will not foal tonight and I can go to sleep. lol biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

I will be switching the camera between her and Sabrina from time to time. Don't know which one needs watching most.

Well what can I say?
Not a whole lot new. So much bag, it squishes out from between her back legs. Beautiful day out, boy did she ever miss her chance! Full moon is fast approaching.....she cant hold out too much longer.
i spent the day outside. i have a ton of phone messages. I'll have to check those later, I suppose.
Butter got her boyfriend today. So we can hope she took.
Survivor night, tonight! Pizza, of course.
Mari is about 320 days...and bagged fairly well.

Well, the bag looks ready....but no wax, no dripping...nothing like that. But we're getting awfully close.
I think she's trying to banketstaaf me into sleeping at night, so she can sneak one out

Mari, well anything abnormal. Lots of rolling. a baby and no warning. She really needs to have someone there for the foaling...so, if you call and its a false alarm, thats ok too. She can bleed to death, rupture an artery, have a severe uterine tear or?
Or , everything will go normal and be fine.

Yeah those cushions looked pretty good...

Update Cinnamon, Lace & Gabby:
We have a full moon for the next three nights so we're hoping that will bring on some foals for us!!

Cinnamon, Lace and Gabby seem to be the ones to watch. They are all relaxed, elongated, and red!! Just won't share any milk with us.

Lace has a full, tight bag too!!! Figures - as soon as I moved her to a refreshing cam she'd decide to get ready!

Baby is still holding on to her foal, She is making progress but very slow We have moved the cams down lower, let me know how they look. Baby is at 341 days We are watching her very close, everything looks ready but her bag. Thanks for watching.

Update Abby & Lady:
Well now...since my wish came true with Libby do I dare try again? Let's see...what is my prediction for Abby? Well now....I know that it has to be a black based foal so I'm going to say bay. I'm predicting since Abby has always thrown color and Hi Tech is batting pretty darn good in that department it will be a bay near leopard or few spot. It will have a TON of muscle. Very cute headed. Let's say FILLY please! Plumbing is MOST important to me you know. Hi Tech seems to be putting down his gorgeous neck. So we'll get that. A nice round hip and good legs. Abby's babies are always little tanks! Lots of WIDTH to the body. That's a pretty good educated guess.
Now...Lady....whose colostrum is thick and sticky tonight...she is going to have a cherry red chestnut filly with spots on the hips. ELEGANT PROFILER! Yep! It will be tall, leggy and with a gorgeous head. Huge hip with a big old crease running all the way down it. Long swan neck. A "look at me" show ring look.
So...will we find out soon? Yes. On both I think before the weekend. Possibly any time on either. No big long dripping wax but everything else is right in line for delivery.
Meanwhile, last night's buckskin filly is truly amazing. She is so people friendly already! No fear of humans and such a doll to handle. Mom is being an angel too. I always worry about first time moms but Libby couldn't be better. I moved them into the stall Abby was in across the aisle and they've settled in nicely. Baby is nursing like crazy and is already very filled out! Holy cow she is a vigorous one and so active. She's got great legs and really knows how to use them. I can hardly believe how tall she is! Now that she is dried off well her color really stands out. I love that gold! She looks like a fawn. Maybe that will be her barn name?? "Fawn?" Hmmm
Jillian has got a great picture taking spring ahead. I can see this already. What a mixture of great colors and coat patterns for her to photograph! And of course none of them are alike at all this year. Once we get that great green grass and the purple of the wild iris by the creek she's going to have a banquet of colors to take in. I'm excited about it.
I think one of the best parts of being a horse breeder is watching those foals you helped create develop into fine independent animals. Each one is so unique in color and personality. I am already excited about our NEXT foaling season! And the one after that!

Update Lacey:
Day 333 morning update...
Nothing new. Her udder is not completely full but fuller than the last pic I took and is hard in the mornings and softens some during the day. Still waiting on the "big spread" of her udder. Its a week until her due date and I am almost sure she will last until then and in my guess will go over but things can change quickly so keep checking back for updates. I will take another udder photo this weekend unless she makes big changes before then.

Die heeft hij vanmorgen al heel veel gehad plus een lekkere schone mand. Maar hij begrijpt er geen snars van dat hij niks te eten krijgt...hij blijft me maar aankijken met een zielige blik.

Hey guess what!!?! Maggie's still pregnant! God bless her, she's miserable tonight. Such an effort to move.. even a few feet. LOL.. she had a two foot tall bank of straw behind her tonight from where she was moving back and forth eating and just couldn't muster up the energy to pick her feet up Poor Maggers.... it will be over soon Big Momma, I promise

Her bag is so big and tight, it hurts me to look at it, but still no wax. She was down once earlier tonight, but seems to be quiet and comfortable now. I know how fast things can change, so I will continue to watch her carefully

I had an hour nap earlier while Ash was still conscious, so you would think I would be refreshed and ready to go tonight.. you would THINK It's not working out quite like I had planned!
