Update Dixie:
Dixie tested almost a 5 on the Milk STrips tonight with there just being a tiny green dot in the center of the fifth square.

Her fluid has changed to the consistency I would expect before foaling. Last night the foal was very active getting itself turned around. Her bag could still get a little larger and tighter. She could make that change quickly and foal within the next few hours or take 24-48 hrs.

So now we just play the old watch and wait game! I'll place updates on the Forum with any changes. We won't send another Email Update out until she begins Labor. Thanks for Joining Us In The Barn as we await our first 2005 foal! Yeah!

Ik blijf er nu even een tijdje niet voor op, dan ben ik straks al moe voordat het hier begint...

Update Lacie:
Update Day 350 am

No change to report. Still very slow to eat her feed. We got some rain overnight and this morning so Lacie will be staying inside again today.

Update Honey:
Honey still has all the physical signs of being ready to foal. She has spent a very quiet, almost depressed day and hasn't had much energy. Her ears were turned toward her rear most of today, like she was trying to listen to something back there. Tonight she has been walking up and down the stall walls rubbing her sides the entire way. This is how Honey usually signals to me that she's ready to start labor. She didn't finish her breakfast and, as I write this, she is barely picking at her dinner. I am not 100% certain that she will foal tonight, but I asked for the low alert to be put out just in case. I'd hate for anyone who has been watching and waiting to miss the chance to see her foal.

I'll update as necessary. Watch the cam caption, also.

Update Skip:
As of last nite Skip is still not showing any signs. She is going to shock me again this year I think. Now Bea....she is getting big..big.It should be a nice big Sneeker baby.

WELL, IT IS VERY QUIET FOR A WEEK OR SO. THE TWO FOALS ARE THRIVING AND ARE REALLY CUTE. tongue.gif I CANNOT KEEP THEM BOTH ON CAMERA WITH MY CURRENT SET UP. WE ARE INVESTIGATING A WIRED SYSTEM WITH MORE CAPABILITIES.

I DID HAVE SWEET PEA AND RAIN ON ONE DAY AND NIGHT THIS WEEK AND HAD CURLY SUE BESIDE THEM. I WILL TRY TO SHARE THE SPOTLIGHT MORE AND HAVE SWEET PEA AND RAIN ON SOME TOO.

PRISCILLA AND I ARE WATCHING unsure.gif HER MARE SNICKERS, DUE LAST MONDAY! THINGS ARE PROGRESSING WITH HER AND I THINK WE WILL SOON HAVE THE FIRST FOAL AT HER FARM MAYBE BEFORE THE FIRST OF THE WEEK.

I WILL BE BRINGING FOUR MARES INTO OBSERVATION STALLS THIS WEEKEND AND WILL ROTATE THE CAMERA SO YOU CAN GET TO KNOW THEM.

Update Icy & May:
Sorry not around much right now but really really have been grabbed by this bug...I think I feel better but still feel so nasty it is hard to tell. I am doing barn work in shifts...I bet it will be a week before I am back to snuff...It is awfuL!

Anyway, Icy seems to be carrying her tail out alot so the pressure must be on...not much else to report except May decided to pull her feeder off the wall last night..the brat.. I was too sick to fix it 100% so hopefully she will leave it alone until I can get in there and put a bolt in it.

Thanks for all the help girls. Maralee, you take care of yourself and check in if you can.....

SNICKERS APPEARS RESTLESS TONIGHT. EVERYTHING SEEMED THE SAME WITH HER WHEN I CHECKED HER EARLIER. BUT SHE IS OUT OF HER REGULAR ROUTINE TONIGHT. I DON'T EXPECT HER TO FOAL TONIGHT BUT THERE IS A SLIM POSSIBILITY. ON MY MONITOR I CAN REALLY SEE THE FOAL MOVING AROUND.

Main Cams up and working again.

I dont know why it goes offline like that every so often...did it last year to. and i dont think they know either

Caught Butter laying down for a while this am. And shes still looking drowsy. If you havent figured it out. She dips her hay in her water and then takes it back out and eats it.
