Verloopig staat ze nog "gewoon" te staan,alhoewel zag haar nu al een paar keer naar haar buik kijken Haha!

Ze begint nu toch wel met regelmaat te kijken naar haar buik.
Maar ik kijk nog 5 minuten en duik daarna me mandje in.

Baby's cam doet het bij mij niet. Volgens het bericht hebben ze daar geen verbinding.

FOAL BORN!!!:

It's a boy!!! Palomino!!! Probably breeding stock......oh well....alteast we got the right coat color if he's got to be a solid! LOL! Now.....anyone out there need a PHBA (Palomino) future World Champion???? This might be the one! He's a full brother to Woodstock Miss Quince (APHA Reserve World Champion Halter, World Show Top 5 and Honor Roll!) This guy is BIG, BEEFY and CORRECT! Nice nice colt!

THANK YOU everyone for being with us in the "Foaling" stall! (I can call it that again! Yea!) Now, don't get too far away! Sandy is due tomorrow! Yikes! No sleep for me! LOL! But, I think I will try and get a little shut eye tonight, as I don't think she's going to pop tonight (HOPEfully!). Night!

Update Fancy - Prairie Hill Paints:
She was foaling this morning in the front pasture when Mik got in. He panicked and called me and I came straight home. The filly is two weeks early. She is small and her front legs are pretty weak but she is up and nursing. Didn't really know what to expect from her since she was a maiden. Her bag is finally beginning to come in well.

Well Took Patches For Another Long Walk..
man I'm gonna be in good shape by the time this foal gets here... Thought about rideing her but she is wayyy to big for it.. and I don't think the cinch would reach around her right now.. She has been acting some different today,, Laying down at odd times during the day and not getting up when I'm out there so WHO KNOWS!! I don't LOL Just watch and wait watch and wait..

Update Cinnamon:
Our third streaming cam is now up and running with Cinnamon on. The refreshing cam has been changed back to the 2nd view of Gabby.

Cinnamon has a very small bag and is not sharing her milk, but her vulva is very swollen. We're watching her closely.

Update Fancy AB Miniatures:
Does anyone have a clue what is going on this year with our foaling dates? I sure can't figure it out!

Fancy is hanging in there night after night. She begins off giving alittle hope she is going to foal and then settles down. She has very sticky fluid, she is so relaxed in the hips and her tail is so loose. I better start her back to reading the book.

Satin has had a rough day, she keeps going back to the spot where we found her and the foal. She will just stand there. She is such a great Dam.

Carolyn and her four maidens are hanging in there. Can you imagine four at one time. That is asking for punishment! Carolyn may end up with grey hair. laugh.gif

Satin lost her foal early this morning. Black and white Filly. Satin was standing over the foal that did not get out of the bag. We have one mare that will kick and I figure Satin got kicked.

Satin is a daughter off Yellow Diamond Little Feather and we have always had such wonderful foals from her. We always look forward to her foaling.

Satin always stands away from the other horses so I really can't be sure what happened. She was the next mare we would put in a stall this coming week. She was due April 24th.

This is the first foal we have lost due to not getting out of the bag. It is hard to take.

Update Lacey:
Day 341- thursday update..

Lacey was a little uncomfortable today. She did a bunch of yawning and looking at her sides like ...hey what are you doing in there..rearranging the furniture? My guess is the foal is repositioning. Not much change in her udder but her vulva is very droopy and swollen. Since her udder still isn't where it should be I will say no foal tonight. We are getting there though.
