hierbij moest ik toch wel even slikken..
"OK, here is what happened. I have to say thank you to Claire....she called and woke me, I was not expecting a daytime foal out of our gal....
Lacey did have a red bag, I have no idea but when I got there the bag was already torn....maybe she hit it on the wall or the feeder, but it was torn. This was the scariest delivery I have ever had....One baby would not turn, I could not turn her no matter what I done. I knew the out come was going to be very grim....with nothing on hand but a pitch fork, I moved the cam and ran for help. Robby's sister, Debbie, had to drive 10 minutes away to get him. In the back of my mind....this little one was done gone. Robby finally made it here....we got her out...tounge was blue...but....she raised up and nuzzled my hand....I lost it....tears went to pouring and praises to God Above....She's here....Been a long wait....But she is finally here. We are still waiting for her to nurse. Lacey is getting protective now, not wanting me in the stall at all. I'm keeping a close eye on them and will post when I can.
Thank you all!! "
