Ik weet het niet er zijn geen mensen bij, maar ik heb ook geen high alert gekregen Tong uitsteken

Misschien even bellen?
Maar kan ook pijn zijn na de geboorte o.d.?

Morguhh..

Ze weten wel dat Spin er last van heeft, maar het is bijna onmogelijk om bij Spin naar binnen te gaan...

Spin and her fillt both seem to be doing fine. The baby has nursed Spin is having contractions and is uncomfortable at this time, I wish I could go in there with her but we all know that is a BIG NO-NO I was able to get the sac off the babys head and towel dry her off just a wee bit. I don't know how many foals Spin has had, she had one in 03 when we got her. I will be watching them close tonight, if I need to get my hands on the baby I will have to take Spin out of the stall. It was very hard to stand on the outside of the stall and watch I wanted to help her so bad. I am very relieved that all went well.. Spin knew it was a special day and foaled on Gabby day Next up is Spook due 6/2.

I treated the stump quickly, when the foal was at the gate. I want so badly to go in there but I can't Spin passed the placenta, she is still having strong contractions I wish I could give her banamine to help with the pain but again that is a No-No

Weer beter nieuws he! Mooi dat het allemaal goed is gekomen en dat ze het veulen mogen bekijken...

UPDATE on Gabby and her new Filly!!!

Well I just heard from the vet and Gabby and baby are doing good. It took Gabby 20 minutes to foal and she had a very big little girl. The filly weighs 28lbs! Gabby is doing good. Her heart rate is in the 50's and all of her blood levels are back to normal. After she foaled the doctor gave her some food and finaly Gabby is eating like a pig. Since she is eating the doctor said that they would start weaning gabby off of her IV Nutrition. Gabby did retain her placenta so they will be treating her for that. The filly is haveing difficultys nursing. The filly has a very strong sucking instinct but is just having problems finding the milk bar. So the vets put in a feeding tube and is giving her gabbys colostrum and some frozen colostrum from other mares. The vet did give the filly some plasma to get her going and have her on IV fluids. Gabby LOVES her little girl very much. Gabby and her filly are finaly out of Isolation and in the mare and foal barn so we will finaly get to go in with Gabby and meet her little girl. we are going to head up there tomorrow morning and we will be taking a camera .
I have decided that we are going to name Gabbys baby Mulligans Run Gabby's Heart of Hope. It just kinda fits because gabbys doctor's name is Dr. Hart and since she had issues with her heart and because my Aunt's(who apsolutley LOVES gabby) name is Hope. So that is what is going on right now. We will keep everyone updated as we go.

Thanks for all the prayers everyone has said and all the thoughts. We are still not out of the woods yet so the prayers are still needed and much appreciated.

me laptob is stuk en nu moet ik de computer delen, met me broer en zus...... omdat ze hun eigen pc niet goed genoeg vinden.
