Update Dawn:
Just to keep you all informed....Dawn is at the 7 day count down to her 342 foaling date. Her bag isn't really much bigger but her teats are just starting to fill out. I'd rest pretty easy with the exception of...Dawn doesn't get a big bag before she foals and in the past hasn't waxed either. She tends to get her bag just AFTER she foals. So that means I have been on the couch watching her just in case. Oh well...that's a yearly event for me. Other news...

Update Storm:
Well 11 days until stormys due date but we are keeping a closer eye on her now.Her udder is very full now and her teats are pointing out from eachother really from remembering dottie chica and pending the only thing she is missing is wax.lol ..we noticed relaxation of the pelvic ligaments, and loose around the coupling and the hindquarters. The muscles appear softer than usual.she has that concave look.so she is making progress. I did get some sleep last night but larry my dad watched her he said about 3am he noticed her get down back up roll get down..so he went up to check on her and said she was aggrivated.and wasnt in a good mood.and stormy is always a pleasant mare.
so we watch and wait she is maiden so we know nothing of her pattern she could hold out ill her due date or surprise us.

I'm Back
shoved that lap top under the hay and mom went in the house.

She missed it tonight!

I sure do miss you all! Love my new home and getting ridden. Then Mom put KIDS on my back! They Giggle too much for me and I just want to GO! I was good though.

I am so proud of Macy and her drip stream! She has got that down pat now.

I have been e-mailing with Spook. Since Mom Dar has her down pat, we are trying to figure out who better to take over writing? ??? I am having so much fun here I really do not have the time. I sure like having a different job though. We think Gigi would be the best for taking over, and with coaching from the old grouch, she should make a fine writer.

I also did a lot of training with her. She has not got the drop and foal right yet. I think she thinks I said foal and roll.

all, I'll check in on everyone when I get time

She tested an immediate 4.5 today with almost all of 5 turning within 50 seconds. There is still a slight bit of green in 5 so I wouldn't call her completely 5 yet. She's as close to 5 as she can be without actually being a 5.

Last night there were several times that I just knew she was going! I really believe she enjoys doing this to me every year!

I can see that she has changed physically in her stomach. The foal is tucked up under her more and looks to be in the correct position. Her tail is abt to fall off her rump which is flat now! I have been seeing it moving right under her stomach and behind her hip bone at the top of her flank. Hopefully she'll go on and have it soon before the weather turns cold again.

I thank you for sticking with us while Dix drags this out again! LOL

As always I'll update you later if I see any changes.

Just got off the phone with Doug and he has two mares that are waxing and he thinks they will go tonight.

Cam #1 and Cam #2 - let's help initiate him into Mare Stare and give him a hand watching these ladies!!!
