Nog een nieuwe update
Rosa en Jordan bij freelands gypsy horses:

Hi Everyone,

It's been a cold, icy mess here the last couple of days. They were predicting that we would get several inches of snow but what we got was a lot of sleet and some freezing rain. We didn't loose power or have any tree damage from the ice. The roads are still icy so we are just staying home.

All the horses are good. They actually seemed to enjoy the weather. Liberty has been playing more the last couple of days than she has in months.

Rosa and Jordan were out for the day but are back snuggled in their stalls tonight. Jordan is trying to catch up with Rosa in bagging up.

Savannah (1/1) @ Double Dot Ranch and Donkey Resort
I dunno if you caught that, but she walked outside and then just stiffened up and her tail went straight out but nothing happened poop or passed water and her woohoo just like sucked up into her and just stayed that way for about 45 seconds, then she started this big yawning thing and yawned a bunch of times. Then she passed water but a very small amount. I dunno what this means. now she is resting kinda, not eating for a CHANGE.

Rosebud due 1/25 @ Stormy Acres
No change with Rosebud, her bag may be a bit smaller tonight then it has been. This morning she was a bit antsy, not her at all, but nothing has changed to think she is close. Today she is 326 days from her last breeding date.

Oh not real sure if we will get storms or not tonight, forgot to watch the weather but don't think so, just some drizzle

KZ @ Elements - due 2/16
KZ has a BIG bag today, and while I don't think that she is quite ready to foal just yet, she DOES look like she is going to foal well before her "due date"! KZ will be on cam overnights and in bad weather, but will be outside for now during the day when it is nice enough.

Fanali had a good night last night, and even laid down for a while!

She has a significant increase in her bag this morning as well!

The girls will be blanketed and turned out for a while today. It is cold and there is snow, but they should be fine outside for a while.

Razz got me a bit nervous at o'dark thirty this morning... she was down resting, and then went flat and went stiff - I jumped up and got dressed, but realized she was just stretching...

Her bag is a little bigger this morning, but not by a lot.

I'm going to blanket the girls and let them out for a while so I can clean stalls.

Charlot due 2/12 @ SandersMisfits
Docs Blue Charlot AKA Charlot is a 1994 bay AQHA mare. Shes had 2 previous foals with no problems. Shes on Cam 2 view for now which is upper right cam
She is a VERY sneaky mare. This is a timeline of her last 2 foals

2007 foal 2009 foal
12:40 and before eating hay 10pm wax
1241pm layed down with bag out 1025pm sac
1255pm water broke 1030pm feet
107am foal out 1033pm out

In those foalings she never showed any kind of discomfort of any kind or closeness.
Eating one min..down with sac/feet out the next.I will be keeping a close close eye on her.
She is due 345 days Feb 12th. She has always carried 365 days, so we'll see if she follows that
pattern again.
Shes in foal to Risky Playboy a homozygous black/white APHA.
If u see anything I need to know about plz call! Shes a regular napper and enjoys her laying flat out
naps. I could really use help in watching her with her being so VERY VERY sneaky.
My cam will be up around 5pm-7am until she looks to be getting closer.
I have hughes internet so my cam will buffer and jump except between 1-6am that is my freetime.

Hoped ya'll would like the outside cam. Watch all the comings and goings.

Nonee is now 300days!! Her bag is slowly filling. Seems to get bigger everyday and not goin down during the day. Her woohaa has loosened up some. Her tail head doesn't seem loose so thats a good thing. She has to wait 20 more days at the min!!! Till them I'm goin to be with worry. She is a maiden so hopefully shes just "playing" games...

Rose due 1/13 @ Double L Acres

I guess our camera is bad in C1, so I switched Rose to C2 and ordered another camera. I would jiggle the wire and it would come on, then black out. Roses' teets are totally full yet and there is still some resistance to her tail. She is elongated in her vulva and smooshy is her hind end. (is smooshy even a word? LOL) I finally figured out how to post on here! Thanks ladies!!!!

Rosa en Jordan @ Freelands Gypsy Horses
Hi Everyone,

The vet was here today and we gave Rosa and Jordan their pre foaling vaccinations. He was surprised at how large Rosa's bag is.

Alexa, our granddaughter, is here to visit for a couple of days and we're so happy to have her with us.

The sleet and ice melted quite a bit today but it's supposed to be in the teens here tonight. Burrr...I do not like cold weather but the horses seem to love it.

OK, she had clear viscous fluid from the big teat. She was groaning when I went in there, one of mine always groans when she lays down, but she had stifle problems so I always think that is what makes her groan laying down. The poop report is, she had a very big one and then the one just a few minutes ago, seems very hard and dryer than usual, but nothing seems usual anymore. Now she just peed, more tail swishing so I dunno, it is so hard not to think you are reading something into everything she does now, but I will admit she is not feeling good today and is very very uncomfortable, her eyes look like she hurts

That would be Rosebud, boring! Maybe content is a nicer word for her. Nah, boring! She is maintaining, so no changes, her bag is as it was last night. The only thing different she has done was try to kill a cat for coming into her stall. Usually she doesn't mind them in there with her. Might have been a cat she didn't care for, who knows!

Hopefully windows doesn't need to do any updates tonight!

Well, Fanali's bag BLEW UP overnight!!! She went from about a B cup up to a D+ with even her teats filled out! She is 327 days today, and will absolutely be inside every night and on cam. Once she looks and/or acts like she is close, she will stay on cam most of the time. Fanali did well last night in the south stall, so we will keep her in that stall and on Cam 1.

Was up with Rose last night, she was up and down, swishing her tail...everything but giving birth, LOL!!! She is dripping milk now, so hopefully, maybe, keep my fingers and toes crossed...tonight! Pebbles in C1 had a bit of colic last night. I gave her "Colic Relief" and a shot of Ban. I love the colic relief...best money I have ever spent!!! That stuff is amazing!!! Thank you ladies for calling me last night! I am naming you my night angels!!!

Mia / RH Decide On Me - due Jan 31 - 328 days - Bagging Up @ Starlight Ranch

Mia's bag has made more progress, she is going to have a nice big bag.

Mia is having her uncomfortable times and has been bitting at her belly a bit but just think it is the foal moving around at this time. Her teats have some filling out to do and the right side of her bag is still smaller than the left. But happy with her progress.

Getting closer.... The baby is starting to wake up. I saw Kelly doing some tail flicking and pawing yesterday, and she kept looking at her belly last night while she was down napping. All of a sudden she got the jello butt today and is loose behind, so looks like things are falling into place. I'm predicting early!

Mia - due 1/30

Mia's bag is even more full this morning, but teats aren't ready just yet... She is 323 days today and so just 10 days from when she has foaled in the past... We will keep Cam 2 switching between Mia & KZ until one looks ready to foal, and if we can, we will stop the switching and keep it on just one cam at that time.

Amazing change in Savannah this am. She now has a "bullet butt" a conformational default, if I were donkey shopping I would pass on a donkey with this fault. I have spent a lot of time on donkey conformation, I like a nice round apple bottom on a donk, a good rear end to hold up the back, as donkeys pull with the front, not push with the back. Her sides are flattened, really amazing, where did the bulging sides go? Savannah has a narrow front end, she could be more drafty but when I bought her conformation was not an issue, I was smitten with her, she has charm and style, and is so clever and funny, although not this morning, she is cranky and aloof, seems dull yet restless and looks so disshevelled, all my donks do, they have been so neglected though this, I should hire some help to keep up appearances.....

Due to some heavy rain, I am not going to turn the cam on tonight. Internet is not stable in this weather. And it sounds like it may be this way until Sunday afternoon. We even have sattelite television so may lose it as well, part of the fun of living in the sticks.

But there are no changes in Rosebud, she is still the same. I think she will hold off until we can get back on...

Mia / RH Decide On Me - due Jan 31 - 328 days - Bagging Up @ Starlight Ranch

Good evening everyone!!

Was a long day. Had to run to town for a few items and ended up picking up a gallon of paint for Mia's stall. Choose a brown but has a tint of Burgundy which is our ranch colors. Turned out nice, Mia only rubbed her nose on one small spot and transfered the paint from the wall to her nose. Will get that washed off tomorrow.

Just as I finished the painting project the new camera and DVR arrrived. We felt the cameras were having a hard time deciding on color to pick up as the walls were all white, the bedding tan and Mia is sorrel. Not a lot of color difference going on there. Things looked much better pretty quick with the new paint. The new camera and DVR pick up the colors even better. The camera has inferred so it will go black and white when the night light is on.

Once done was pretty frustrated as the pixelating was still happening reason we made all of the changes along with running a new line. So contact Rich and ends up the settings on the streaming's needed some work so we are now all good. So excited about that we are now ready for Mia to foal!!

Mia continues to make progress but just waiting to see key signs of impending foaling. Full bag, Wax, Scarlet Red in Back, once that happens from what I have been told we should be a go. So we will just keep a good eye on her, at least we can now see her clearly again.

Mia's bag is absolutely stretched to bursting this morning! Her teats are almost non-existent though from the stretch. Last time Mia went from a moderate bag to foaling in 2 days, so we need to keep a very close eye on her!

Ik ook gemist helaas! Hou nu wel die van Elements in de gaten, en nog een ezeltje...de merrie van elements is steeds buiten, maar volgens het twitterbericht denk ik dat t niet heel lang meer gaat duren, schijnt toch steeds naar de buik te kijken enzo...ben benieuwd!
