Geplaatst I recently posted a new topic on the forum to see if anyone recognised our mare as we are desperate to find out about her past or her past owner/s, or even her breeder. Many of you gave me the telephone number of Nijen Twillaar and I thank you for that information. I have tried many times before via letter but this man never answers. Another dealer has contacted me to say that he telephoned him to ask about my mare and the only information he can remember is that he bought her from yet another dealer and sold her as 'no good'. Apparently Nijen Twillar is well known for buying horses that have been veterinary failures from Insurance companies but this is only information that I have been given by another dealer.
Someone else contacted me to say the mare was used in a riding school in Holland but she could not remember which one.
If any of you do remember seeing her, I know there is only a small chance of that, but I would be so happy to hear from you. Any information I am given will be held in the strictest confidence. I will not blame anyone for her condition as we are more concerned in trying to give her a future and any information about what has happened to her will help both ourselves and our vet so much
