Citaat:
due to an oversight in their rule book Thoroughbreds only have to meet the white limits part of the color rule and not rule227i, which we knew about but since none of them were of breeding age before no one said anything to the AQHA because we didn't want them to close the loophole. Well one of the owners of a cremello TB stallion applied to list her stallion with the AQHA for breeding and the AQHA tried to turn her down. I told them to contact a lawyer because legally the AQHA must follow their own rule book. I just heard the other day and saw a copy of the letter sent to them by the AQHA that they are going to have to allow the cremello TBs to be listed for breeding. They did notify them that rule227i is on the agenda for the next convention and that they have also put on the agenda to close the loophole if rule227i is not removed at that time.
However any mares bred to the listed stallions prior to that time will be able to have their offspring registered AQHA.
There are a couple of cremello TB stallions that would be available, if anyone is interested I can put you in touch with the owners, here's your chance to get a palomino or buckskin appendix QH guaranteed! LOL
).
Toch handig als je de regels kent....
