AQHA schreef:An Appendix Quarter Horse can do what is called advance to white permanent number papers. They must either have a register of merit in racing, open showing or amateur showing. There is a fee of $25 for a gelding, $50 for a mare or $100 for a stallion. This can be found in the official handbook Rule 205(b). They also must have a signed statement from a licensed veterinarian certifying that the horse does not have a parrot mouth and if a stallion a signed statement certifying it is not cryptorchid. They may also not have what is considered a genetic defect or undesirable trait such as HYPP results of H/H or undesirable white markings.
Pictures must be submitted to record a Thoroughbred. They will have a code of T - approved For Breeding or J - Abnormal Status (This means the Thoroughbred has undesirable white but is still recorded as breeding stock and the foals can be registered). A copy of the Jockey Club papers must also be submitted and the last recorded owner on those papers will be the ownership we will record the Thoroughbred in on the AQHA records. An enrollment certificate will be issued with a number that begins with a T. That will be their Quarter Horse number. Remember the Thoroughbred can only be breed to a permanent numbered white papered Quarter Horse for the foal to be eligible for registration with AQHA.
Dit is dus het vervolg op het eerder antwoord:
AQHA schreef:AQHA allows Thoroughbreds to be registered as breeding stock. The reason is to bring running blood into the pedigree. They can only be breed to a white papered, permanent numbered Quarter Horse. We do not want to take away from the actual Quarter Horse breed. The resulting foal is a yellow papered Appendix Quarter Horse. A recorded Thoroughbred can only be breed to a permanent numbered Quarter Horse. An Appendix Quarter Horse can only be breed to a permanent numbered Quarter Horse. The mission of AQHA is to record and preserve the pedigree of the American Quarter horse while maintaining the integrity of the breed. That is why one of the horses in the breeding must always be a permanent numbered registered Quarter Horse.
