    I wonder if any of you good people could help me find the previous owner/s or even the breeder of my mare. We have had her for nearly a year now and were not given her original passport therefore we do not know anything about her except that she was imported from Holland to England in around Jan/Feb 2005

    Any information given will be held in the strictest confidence. I just want to know what she has done in her life.

    Hello Catherine,

    I've read your story about the mare by clicking the link in your message and I wonder how she could have a KWPN-passport, what I saw when I looked at the photo with almost only her head on it, was .... okay she is black and white but her features are similar to Frisian horses!!!
    I wish you a lot of succes, I wish I could help you. This is the only thing I can write now, I think by seeing the pictures that she is half Frisian.

    The passport is a legal documentation, NOT a proof of her breeding!
    You can obtain the passport trough a number off sources for instand the KWPN. If she is a KWPN horse, then she should have a breeding certificate.
    I'll inform SANEX of your post, she recently had a question about her horse who was sold to England, but the pictures off the horse showed a different horse, traveling on the documents of her horse.

    My quess, since the documents are in Dutch, people in Brtitain are fooled bij false papers. I agree with Oestinja, it looks like a Frisian crossbreed!
