hello, I have to post in english and german

I am looking for any information on Lancet. What are the characteristics of his offspring ? I am also searching for pictures of offspring.
Thank you - In germany we do not have that many information on him.


Ich suche informationen zu Lancet. Wie hat er sich vererbt ? Was ist typisch für die Nachkommen ? Kann jemand links zu Fotos posten oder mir schicken ?

Lancet was the champion of dressagestallions 1996. As son of Wenzel I from a Showgun XX-mother he offers unique bloodlines and fits to every dressage-bred mare(...)

Lancet was the winner of the *hengstencompetitie???* 1998 en 1999, and made it to the PAVO-finals as well.

From the eldest offspring Patron impressed us very much. He won the VSN-trophy 2000. Johan Hamminga rewarded Patron with a 9 under saddle.

I know someone whit a offspring from Lancet.
It is a very sweet horse, knows how to move but has his strong own charactar. If you can deal with it, it is a great horse!
I'm sorry but I don't have pictures..

I ride a 6 year old lancet gelding.
He is a very good mover (takes a lot of space) and is very nice to work with.
He is competed in jumping and eventing (SGW), but would be suitable for dressage as well.

we have also a mare of Lancet.

last year she won the selection of the 4 years old at the Pavo Cup in Dronten.
In the Finale in Ermelo she was 18 th of the Netherlands and 4 th mare at all.

She is very sensible, likes a lot of work, I think she is not recommended for a beginning rider, but she is a very special dressage horse.

I know a lot of offspring from Lancet, who are all very good movers. They have nice long frontlegs, the neck could be a bit longer. One thing that I absulutely hate from Lancet's is their character. You should really be very consequent and an advanced rider, because they are not the nicest horses to work with.
Unfortunatly I don't have pictures of his offspring for you, but I think you really should be carefull with the caracter. But off course this also depends on the mare.

The character from Parceval is very good he came from my Mare and she has a good character to.

I own a Lancet mare myself. She is now 8 years old and turns 9 in may. I have her for 2 months now and were training for dressage compititions next year. Before we bought her she was a breedingmare and produced 3 foals that are now competing in the dressagesports in the levels M and Z.
She has a very nice character, very sweet en workwilling but sometimes a little clumsy. Her walk is very beautifull and she has a lot of space in the walk, as well in the trot and canter. She is very long in her body, allthough it is a part because she had foals on early age, so the back is longer. She also has less muscle because we're just training for 2 months.
