2 different welsh Vereniging

I just went through the list of horseVereniging, and i can see 2 for welshponies.

Can someone explain the differce between the 2.

Well, you have the NWPCS (KWPCS) that stands for "Dutch Welsh pony and Cob Studbook" and the WPCV that stands for "Welsh pony and cob society".

The WPCV works in the same way as the mother-studbook in the homeland England. The NWPCS works in a similair way as the KWPN (studbook for Dutch sporthorses) where you can retreive titels as ster, preferent, elite etc. You can't receive such titels in the WPCV.

Both are studbooks for Welsh pony's and Cobs, but they work in a different way.

I have requested dublicat papers for my mare, can I reguest them both places or only the NWPCS which was the place her chipnumber shows when I looked it up.

I believe it is possible, but it'll get quite expensive that way.

Is your pony already registrated with a chip and passport?

My pony have both a registrationsnumber and a chipnumber, I have reguested dudlicet papers/passport from NWPCS, but it is taking sooo looong.

And they wont give me any information on her at all. It is difficult for me to understand that it takes more than 2 month to get the papers.

The papers did not arrive in DK with, she was bought with a wrong passport. I had the vet to look for the chipmark.

there not so fast at the NWPCS. I had to wait 2,5 months the get all the paperwork(passport and paper) off my stallion back.

That's weird that they wouldn't give you more information, I asked for a list of the progency of my mare a few days ago. The next day I already had it in my inbox.
How long it takes to get your papers I have no idea of but it's typical for any studbook, that these things take a looooooooong time.

Have you payed the bill the NWCPS send you? Because they only will return the papers if you have payed them.

no I have not payed the bill, and they have not yet informed me how to do so, allthoug I have requested in every mail have have send how to do so.

They hav´nt send me any bill yet, we are 2 from DK requesting paper and passports, The other has been asked for dna, but I´m the one reciving the mail .

We are still investigating the dna, you will hear from us when the investigation is over......

I think they have something mixsop.

hello frufru: I have heard the NWPCS has had some challenges with lost e-mails due to the move from Huis Ter Heide to Harderwijk. You might want to resend the e-mail.

Thank you, I will give them a call, they also lost what we send by post, thats why we mailed it the 2. time.
