Dornenkoenig passed his köring 1994 in Marbach. He passed his 100 Day test in 1996 at Neustadt/Dosse, where he finished with a dressage index of 123 points, jumping 117 points and an overall score of 123 points. Dornenkoenig is a licensed class I stallion and a St.Pr. stallion. He qualified for the Buendeschampionat in 97/98. Dornenkoenig is already competing successfully at Prix St George in 2000 . In his first foal crop he sired Dornkaadt , out of a mare by Argentan, who passed his koering and was bought by the County Stallion Station in Neustadt/Dosse. Also he sired 2 states premium mares with 8,2 and 8,5 scores. In 2000 he had yet another daughter who received the states premium title. His first USA foal Dornenprince was given the Premium award by the Oldenburg Verband at inspection.
Dornenkoenig received a dressage breeding index of 146 points. At the 2001 Bundeschampionat he had a 3 year old gelding in the top ten for young dressage horses and a 4 year old mare in the top ten 3 Day Eventing.
