Dyfed Major - Infos please

Dyfed Major (* 1986, grey, Dyfed Geraint x Dyfed Megan II)

I only know that he is in NL and he is registered by the WPCV, but....

...who is the owner?
... is he still alive?
... have he produced some foals in NL?
... any other informations of this stallion?
... how is his damline? I only know that Megan II ist out of Mynwy Moonbeam. Is Mynwy Moonbeam a FS-Mare?

Dyfed Major was imported in 1986 as a foal by Arthur Spronken of Varpullan. To my knowleddge, Arthur never used Major himself, it might be possible that someone purchased him for breeding. In that year, Arthur leased Dyfed Geraint and purchased both Major and Dyfed Aurelius. If I remember well, Aurelius was even presented at the NWPCS stallion inspection, Major was never presented there.

Major's dam Dyfed Megan by Revel Chip was imported by Mrs. Martens of Tongelre stud. Dyfed Megan was a very nice mare, a typical daughter of her father.

It is possible that either Piet Geelen (Heide's) or Twan Raymakers (Raloon) had Dyfed Major. As Major was originally registered with the NWPCS, someone may have registered him with the WPCV when he/she started to breed from him.

Why are you asking, found any offspring by him? I might even have some pictures of Major as a foal, but finding them from my "archive" might be quite a challenge..

Joost, thank you very much for your informations.
No, i don´t find any offsprings by him. I´ve seen at WPCV the Deklicenties-side and Dyfed Major is there on the list. I´m a great fan from Dyfed-/Revel-Ponys and want to know something more about this stallion. I have a mare out of the Revel-Damline and i´m looking sometimes for a stallion who is out of this breedinglines....

So i never heard anything about Dyfed Aurelius!
