van t leefdaalhof merrie

Hello,
Ik krijg een haflingermerrie - haar vader is Liz Atomist en de moeder is Terry van t leefdaalhof, de grootouders zijn Amadeus en Nikita en Mehrwald en Tiffany van t Leefdaalhof.

Kan iemand me over de lijn van T Leefdaalhof vertellen? Of ken je om het even welke verwanten?

(droevig over de grammatica, I don' t spreekt het Nederlands)

Van waar ben je?

Atomist is een bekende hengst in België. Hij was vorig jaar nationaal kampioen op de hengstenkeuring. Zijn nafok doet het heel goed op de keuringen.

Met de juiste zoekopdracht vind je foto's en info over Tiffany, die blijkbaar bij bokster stef op de manège staat.

Mehrwald stond bij dezelfde hengstenhouder als Atomist, maar is ondertussen verkocht naar Nederland en daar overleden. Zijn nafok is iets minder modern, maar hier en daar heeft hij zijn sporen nagelaten in de fokkerij. De combinatie Atomist X Mehrwald zorgde voor de dekhengst Amast van 't Jansveld.

Is dit jouw merrie?

I' m in het UK. De merrie heeft een paspoort van België en Tamara Van t leefdaalhof genoemd. Ik denk zij ongeveer 5 jaar oud is. (droevig zijn de vertalingen zo slecht)

Clava, I replied youre message, Tiffany is indeed at our stable, and I own a filly of her, I think it is no problem for most of us if you use english..

That's kind as my Dutch is non existent! Using this forum is pretty much impossible as I don't even know what the commands say.

Thanks for your messages, you've been very helpful. I'm still trying to find out who owns Tiffany's daughter (Terry) who is the mother of the mare that I am getting.

Are you sure the papers state her name as Tamara? I only found a Tamira (mind the i) born in 2005.

No I'm not sure as I haven't seen the papers and the owner has sent then to the British Haflinger Society to change ownership and register with them. Was Tamira's sire Atomist? and mother Terry? How do you look the pedigrees up, do you have a link? The owner has said that she thinks she is 5 so sounds right.

Would the Belgian Stud book be OK with an email in english, or should I find someone to translate?

Tamira's sire was indeed atomist, her dam is terry van 't leefdaalhof and she was born in 2005. I can look this up in a non-publicly accessible database. It is a bit out of date (horses born after 2005 aren't there) and sometimes incomplete, but it's far better than allbreedpedigree.

Go ahead and try sending it in english. I don't think it 'll be a problem...

With the same parents and in the same year it must be the same horse! Many thanks, that's brilliant! Does she have a reference number or similar?

I will email the Stud Book directly.
