maar waar het mij meer om gaat, een vriendin van mij heeft interesse in de hengst Poco Jessie JB en heeft al contact gehad met de eigenaresse om te vragen naar het hoe en wat. Dit is het antwoord wat zij terug kreeg:
I have a shipment going to UK this spring that should only cost about $275 each person who gets on board and will get cheaper with each person (for shipping fees). I will also give $100 off the stud fee for getting on board with that shipment (not sure how far the Netherlands are from UK). I have a possible shipment going to Germany as well.
the cost will be about $1300 total to send to Germany and that includes collection, packaging, chute fees (no charge for any of that for these overseas shippings), shipping, customs and getting the container back via Fed Ex once it is empty. I will use Airnet, Inc. to ship the semen over there in a special LN2 container that holds hundreds of straws and is a dry shipper (meaning the LN2 is soaked up in a sponge type coating inside the container and makes it a non-hazardous material shipper). The stud fee is $500 but will give $100 off to anyone you can get on board to help split that shipping fee...I stand several nice stallions so show your friends. The shipment to the UK now has 5 people on board so their fee is pretty reasonable split 5 ways.
4 straws (.5 ml each) make up a dose and each breeding paid for comes with 2 full doses (so 8 straws per stud fee paid) and with my protocol you should have about 3 cycles to get your mare in foal with that amount of semen.
