hello I have a tinker, I know a lot about the breed, to much to write down so you can always ask me questions! Tinkers can be black, brown, white but most tinkers are multi-coloured. They have, just like shires, long manes and big tails and lots of feather. Like other people said, tinkers are smaller than shires. They can be 135 cm - 170 cm high. Mine is 1.53. And they can gallop, no problem Here is a picture of him:
There is a sub-forum for tinkers, it here: viewforum.php?f=98 Most is in dutch, but almost everyone understands english And there are a lot of pictures and links there.
HI, Yes a shire can galop, nothing wrong with that They galop in the feeld aswell, so its natural to them too. You are right there are only a few shires in your country. But they are coming, I sold 4 horse to rumania in januar this year. The shire is a gentel horse, and is easy to ride. You asked for a simular breed, the clydesdale. They are very simular to the shire, only they have better colours, and most of the time the charakter is better for riding. But they are so simular even the english jury can't always tell the difference between the shire and the clyde.
