Engels gedicht..

Ik wil een engels gedicht (over m'n lievelingspaard die weg/dood is) op de voorkant van mijn agenda,
alleen weet niet precies wat.

Weet iemand misschien zinnetjes/gedichten die je daarop kunt toepassen zegmaar?
Zoiets als: 'It will never be the same, without u.' ofzo?

Als je kiest voor jouw zin, zou ik wel "you" doen ipv "u" op 't eind.

Ik bedenk er nu wel een voor je :

Persoonlijk vind ik dit een heel mooi gedicht:

They say memories are golden
well maybe that is true
I never wanted memories
I only wanted you

A million times I needed you
a million times I cried
If love alone could have saved you
you never would have died

In life alone I loved you dearly
In death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place
No one could ever fill

If tears could build a stairway
and heartache make a lane
I'd walk the path to heaven
and bring you back again...

May I go now?
Do you think the time is right?
May I say goodbye to pain filled days and endless lonely nights?
I’ve lived my life and done my best an example tried to be.
So can I take that step beyond and set my spirit free?
I didn’t want to go at first, I fought with all my might.
But something seems to draw me now to a warm and living light.
I want to go, I really do.
It’s difficult to stay.
But I will try as best as I can to live just one more day.
To give you time to care for me and share your love and fears.
I know you’re sad and afraid, because I see your tears.

Wauws, dat gedichtje van Maethoriel is mooi! Haha!

Ik zou even zo snel niets weten, maar blijf dit topic even volgen om te kijken of er nog meer moois voorbij komt. Knipoog
