Nature’s Way

When someone dies the sorrow is great
Even though they pass through the heavenly gate
The feeling of loss weighs heavy on your heart
Knowing you will always be apart
Right till the day your own heart stops beating
You know, will be the time for your second meeting

Absence of our loved ones grants us tears
It’s nature’s way to show us how to handle our fears
Although crying is an emotion we’d rather not know
In life, it shows us the right path to go

They say the pain will slowly fade
But that doesn’t make up the decision nature has made
The soul we lost, will not come back into our lives
And the pain that causes, scars us like knives

The moment you hear the one you love has passed away
Will go into history as your darkest day
You literally feel your heart break in two
But there is nothing a needle and thread can do

Never again will you hug your mother
Never again will you hold your brother
That thought alone should make you cry
Praying, they will never die

But nature works in mysterious ways
She can prolong and end our days
There is nothing we can do to stop our fate
They all lead to the heavens beyond the gate

Up above we will all meet again
And it’s up to nature to decide when
But once we’re there we can hug our mother
And we can once again, hold our brother
