I know who I am
When I walk at the streets,
I hear them talking about me.
And I know what they think;
I know they say I'm ugly.
But I refuse to wear make-up,
I don't want to be another trend.
And if you don't like that, well;
you don't have to be my friend.
But why would you judge me,
judge me at first sight?
Don't you understand it;
real beauty lies inside..
And I know not everyone
can get along with me.
But at least I am myself;
that's all that I can be.
I know that I'm a bit strange
and really stubborn sometimes.
But I don't intend to change,
It's just the way I am.
And I know I have bad traits;
but don't we all have them?
Yet I think I'm beautiful,
'cause I know who I am..
