If making a mistake would turn your heaven upside down
Would failing here on earth give you the feeling that you'll drown?

If letting someone down is still the hardest thing to do
Even if it means the one who's let down will be you...

When 'live and let live' would apply to anyone but me
Would I not be the only one who never will be free?

Lending everybody else a shoulder, or a hand
How many parts of your body will be yours in the end?

While holding on to everything you think that you must hold
You'll miss out on the greatest things while you are growing old

If letting go means that you'll have the power to be you
Would that not mean it is the first that your new you would do?
