I lost touch with people,
I thought would stay for life,
I made friends in places,
I never imagined finding them.

I'm out of balance,
searching for consistency,
In a fluid, always changing world.
My heart and soul can't catch up.

Past, present and future,
All mixed up in my mind.
Searching my place,
Trying to understand my own story.
