One the Downway

If I see the girls walk by
with their high heels and shiny toes
I wonder what it would be like
to don't care what's going on in the world

You see, I'm this kind of person
who can't let go what she saw
I can't even watch a minute of CNN
without a guilty pain in my stomach

A old dog bullied by some guy in Turkey
children crying where their parents are
please hand me over some tissues
or some usefull plans to stop the war

When I'm lying in my bed at night
I try to think about Orlando Bloom
but oh, there is that film again
and it will keep playing on and on

Oh, I wonder what it would be like
not being touched every day
to live safely without worries about
the earth its riding on the downway

Mooi, herkenbaar ook, die gevoelens.

Ik zie wel een paar foutjes qua spelling en grammatica maar de boodschap komt prima over.

Even iets verbeterd, maar ik zou graag je spelling en grammatica fouten willen weten, ik vind het toch altijd weer wat moeilijker met gedichten omdat dat je dat toch een deel op gevoel dat zonder daar over na te denken.

Wat ik er nu uithaal:

Of het grammaticaal correct is weet ik niet, maar het 'to don't care what' vind ik zelf niet helemaal lekker klinken. Ik zou er zelf 'about' tussen zetten. (to don't care about)

Citaat:
A old dog

Dat moet an old dog zijn.

Citaat:
usefull

Moet useful zijn, 1 L minder dus.

Citaat:
the earth its riding on the downway

Ik kan er niet helemaal uithalen of de 'its' de bezittelijke vorm van 'earth' moet zijn of niet, ik vermoed na je aangepaste versie van wel. Zo ja, dan is het goed, anders moet het it's worden.

Verder 'lopen' de zinnen soms niet helemaal lekker (maar dat kan persoonlijk zijn hoor) als je ze achter elkaar leest, maar apart kunnen ze wel. Het is een gedicht, dus dat vind ik eigenlijk niet zo'n punt. Ik vind het goed!

Ik had eerst inderdaad 'about' erin staan, maar dat vond ik dan weer zo'n mondvol.

In een gedicht heb je ook wat meer 'vrijheid' qua zinsbouw, dus gewoon gebruiken wat jij lekker vind klinken.

Echt heel leuk!

Leuk onderwerp en fijne opbouw zodat je nog niet gelijk doorhebt waar het over gaat.
Grammaticaal zou ik van 'to don't care' - 'to not care' maken, dan klopt hij wel!
