[EG] Jazz, Samber from Holland to UK in '99 as 2-year old.

We think this horse was imported from Holland to the UK around 1999 as a two year old. She has since become separated from her papers. We think her name was Jazz and she is believed to be from Samber lines. Does anyone recognise her and can give me anymore information so that I can get some paperwork back for her?

Sorry, I don't recognise her, but I can tell you is that if she is a Dutch Warmblood and she was born in 1997, her name couldn't have been Jazz. Her name would have started with a P, since al names of Dutch Warmbloods start with a certain letter (in alphabetical order) corresponding to a year.
For this year al names start with the letter C, so 10 letters back (without Q,X and Y) would be a P.
If her name was really Jazz she should be 16 years old.

Do I see a freezemark on her withers? As far as I know no freezemarks are used or have been used in Holland.

I don't know the horse, sorry.
But horses who are transported can have those marks, I know a horse with something like that, but he had it more on his neck (?) those marks. And that horse came from Poland I believe.

The freeze mark was added in the UK about three years ago, so that is a red herring. Not sure of the exact year of birth or if Jazz is her registered name but I would not think she was as old as 16! Thanks for your help.
