hoe valt een prestige zadel ?

hoi,

Wie weet er meer over prestige zadels ?
Zijn er modellen met een gebogen boom ?
Hoe groot vallen de zittingen uit ( omdat je moet kiezen tussen 17 of 18 inch ) ?
en de boommaten zijn vrij krap geloof ik toch ?

Ik heb ooit eens een nummer van een Prestige zadel van mij naar Prestige gemaild. Ik zal hun antwoord in cursief hieronder plaatsen, dan is alles duidelijk. Het zegt ook wat over hoe de zadels vallen.

Out of the serial number of the Prestige saddles you can get many infos: the seat size, the withers bar, the year and the month in which the saddle was produced. In this case:

17 31 362094

The first 2 numbers indicate the size of the seat (in this case 17).

Our saddles can have followins seat sizes, depending on the weight of the rider:

15’’= Weight of the rider 40 Kg (pony)
16’’= Weight of the rider 41- 55 Kg
17’’= Weight of the rider 56- 79 Kg
18’’= Weight of the rider 80- 100 Kg

The following 2 numbers indicate the withers bar (in this case 31). The Prestige saddles are available in different withers bar (from 28 to 37). The medium withers bar is 32 and each size varies 1 cm more or less from the others.
In the big following number the last 3 figures are very important (in this case 094).
09 means the month of production (09= September) and 4 means the year of production (40 it can correspond either to 1994 or 1984).
Till 2004 our serial numbers used to reocur each 10 years so we deciced to add another figure for he year in order to avoid this (in 2004 we produced namely a saddle with the number 3620904).

Unfortunatly I’m not able to give you any further info about this saddle since all the records relating to the years before 1999 were lost during our tranfer to our new plant. If you can send us photos of the entire saddle I can ask our technician if he can recognize which model it is.

Dan zou ik dus vrij ruim nog in een 17 inch passen....

Ik ben bij een zadelmaker bij mij in de buurt geweest en ik zou dan 17 inch moeten. Ik ben 42 kg en ik heb geen dikke kont. Dat was dus ook bij de Prestige Michel Robert.

Ik had een dressuurzadel (Appaloosa) en ik weeg echt lang geen 79kg, maar ik vond hem bij mijn knieen niet lekker zitten. Nou moet ik ook eerlijk zeggen dat ik meer van een ongedwongen zit houd. Een wrong vind ik prima, maar alleen als hij me niet hindert en dat zat voor mij niet lekker bij die 17".
