This stallion hasn't produced offspring since 1994. So I think there is little change you will find one for lease. Perhaps you can keep an eye out on the site sporthorses en let them inform you when one is for sale. You're searching for a 19 year old ore even older. Why the specific interest in this stallion or is it just the collor?

I think you were lucky with this offspring of El Rosso. In my opinion the better genes come from his father Notaris. In general the offspring of El Rosso didn't perform that well. That's the reason he wasn't allowed to proceed as a stallion when his foals were between 3 and 7 years old. The results were beneath de breeding standards off the KWPN. In general the hight was an issue. Small horses with a neck and back not up too the standards. At a later date the performance didn't improve impressive. In 1994 the stallion was sold to Switzerland. Possibly you can find younger offspring there. Those foals were not registerd in the KWPN studbook.

It's the other way around. As foal he was registerd as Elpidas. After the tests as yough stallion when he was registerd as a breedingstallion he was renamed El Rosso obviously because off his exceptional collor. Roan isn't a common collor for a KWPN horse.
