Stoggs went back today for his visit to the vets

The fractures around his cheek still need to heal, so he will go back in 6 weeks for another X-ray. And he still has no vision in the right eye, but I am not too fussed about that.
I knew he was doing well, but it is nice to have them so pleased with him - they were amazed how good it all looked.
Sometimes I see the things that are 'wrong' with him - like his bad eye, or the wounds on his leg that are still healing, and I realise how incredible it is that he has survived - when I came home that night, and saw the box he had been in - all the wood was kicked into the next stable, the bars cut in half, and he was just standing in another stable, his head was huge and his eye was so swollen, I am not usually upset by things like that, but it still makes me feel a bit

I know poor Mum still worries going out to the stables to check them - because it was her that found him, and she says she honestly thought he must have broken his leg, and then she saw his head......
I am so lucky - I just hope he doesn't do anything else as daft anytime soon!!!
Thank you for all your support - it means a lot!
