Yes, I was born in Belgium and lived a few years in Krimpen aan den IJssel, Holland. My father and his family are original from there. My daughter was born in Capelle aan den IJssel. I moved to the States a few years back. My daughter never knew how to speak Dutch so she grew up speaking English. I speak English 24/7 and how incridible it may sound, I have lost over 70% of my Dutch. When I'm on the phone with my family it takes me hours to find what I want to say. I guess your brain can only handle so much! (Brain? I have a brain?

Anyway, that is why I respond in English because it is so much easier for me. It takes me too long to write what I want to write and by the time I found the word, I already forgot wat I was talking about! So, please accept my appologies for this inconvenience! I hope this explains the WHY?
