Foxie op 23-jarige leeftijd, zij is nu 25
Een stukje geschiedenis over Foxie:
Karen can tell you more but I will tell you what I know. One of Foxie's previous owners was not a very nice man. Foxie has dents in her face and is missing teeth from being hit with the bull-snap end of a lead rope.
I think she lived with someone else after him and before us. That person bred her and when she wasn't able to get her in foal again, she offered her to Karen. Karen, knowing that Foxie's breeding could create a beautiful foal with Khornerstone KpM, took Foxie in.
When we first met her, she didn't seem to enjoy anything. She would do whatever we asked of her but begrudgingly. She was never mean or anything but she hardly ever put her ears up. She didn't really like to be touched or groomed but she would put up with it.
Boy has she changed! She has really bloomed. She keeps her ears up now and she likes to be groomed.
Her color is deeper, her outlook brighter and she is a real character. She still seems a bit unsure of men the first time she meets them but other than that, she seems to be enjoying life much more now. She really seems happy being pregnant and we can't wait to see her foal.
I'm sure Karen will correct any errors above but I am glad Foxie came to live at Karen's because she has found a happy place now and she deserves it.
