Citaat:...it was dark, darker then she imagined it had been, the blackness seemed to unpleasantly close in on her. Her breathing, was turning into a heavy panting, 'footsteps' she thought... she heard them coming nearer. They sounded hollow ... coming closer. She started walking a pace faster, blood rushing to her face, cheeks gone pinkish.
'Brrr', she thought 'it has really gone cold fast'. She hurried along the closed doors while trying to do up her buttons, with her free hand.
The other hand was clutched around her mobile phone, she felt the need to keep walking in this fast pace. Her heels making a clicking sound against the pavement... slowly dying away in the darkness that seemed strangely thick.
Still the heavy yet hollow footsteps were following her, rather closely and strange enough they made no echoing sound, thou hers did.
She saw her breath evaporating, making small clouds, it seemed to even be getting colder, a chill went through her skin, making her knees wish she was wearing pants.
The footsteps stopped. She was startled and felt a curiosity rising to turn around to see who was following her for these last minutes... although it could have been an hour for that's what it felt like, her heart still racing in her chest, making her light headed.
She let out a gasp of air, when she realized that the air she was breathing out was turning into ice... falling on the ground. Her eyelashes were covered in frosty drops, and her face felt strangely numb.
She froze in her steps. Feeling chilled to the marrow, she couldn't undo the clutch around her phone, her body was feeling numb. Her fingers were starting to hurt as she tried to open her hand.
She looked down at her hand, it had frostbite all over... she screamed, yet there was no echo, and a wall of darkness muffled the sound.
The footsteps started again, this time not hollow, but heavy and still without an echo... 'Oh God, help me' she thought, breathing was difficult and the cheeks that were blushed up pink, now only were numb or giving her sharp pain. She failed to move, how she wished she could run away.
Afraid to close her eyes, her heart going crazy in what now felt like a wooden box which was once her warm and soft body...
If she could've moved she would have fainted, but now standing there frozen in her steps, all she could do was wait.
She heard the muffled sounding footsteps and caught a glimpse of a shadow, it didn't appear very large, though it looked fluttering as lighted by candles... then everything stopped.
Elisa, let out a gasp of air, breathed in deeply, and looked around her.
Soft lights came from the lanterns around her, her hand still clutched around her mobile phone... she frightfully stared at it, it was sore, but appeared normal. She shivered, a chill went through her heart.
Very carefully she glanced over her shoulder..... nobody, her heart was still racing, she could feel the beating in her throat and she was starting to get a headache.
'Let's go home, now' her mind was speeding along what had happened to her, and she needed to leave, now.
Her hair felt rather wet and cold in her neck, and she tried tying it up in a knot. Suddenly a cold wind blew, again sending shivers down her spine.
She decided to follow her intuition 'let's get the hell out of here'.
She started walking again, rushing home. Her pinkish face turned red quite fast as she hurried along the way.
She stopped, screamed, then fell down.... her silence overwhelming the scream she had let out.
The next morning she was found, her eyes blackened, frostbite markings all over her body... the body looked like it had been dead for at least 2 weeks, 'stored in a freezer no doubt' the policemen said amongst eachother.
There were more reports about the 'Frostbite Killer' yet they never found the freezer.
