Mytens xx entstammt der Hengstlinie des international erfolgreichen Nasrullah xx, auf den er zudem ingezogen ist. Zunächst in den Niederlanden eingesetzt, stieg er 1992 in Deutschland auf wie Phönix aus der Asche. Aus den ersten Fohlenjahrgängen wurden zahlreiche Auktionspferde und -fohlen rekrutiert. In Just Spectacular xx, Mystiko und Mythos (alle PB Oldbg.), Magic Dream (PB Rhpfs.), Mynos (PB Mecklbg.), Marido (PB Holst.) und Watermill Fourth xx (PB NL) stellte er bisher sieben gekörte Söhne.

Chief's Crown is racing royalty. He was champion 2 yr old colt and won over $2,100,000.00. His sire is one of the all time leading sires and his damsire won the triple crown. His grandma, Chris Evert was Champion three yr old filly. His pedigree goes back to Nearco three times, with Northern Dancer once and Nasrullah twice, both major sport horse sires. He also has Teddy twice and War Admiral once, two other major sport horse sires. Secretariat is showing up in pedigrees of several TB sires producing sport horses now. Alleged has a pedigree full of sport horse sires. Teddy, War Admiral twice, Tourbillon, Count Fleet, Albhai, Mahmoud, Prince John. Not coincidentally, many of these horses are also large heart or X factor sires as well. Buckpasser is very popular in sport horse breeding, going back to War Admiral up close as well as Teddy. I am unfamiliar with Three Bars pedigree, however about forty years ago there was a quarter horse jumper who set a new world height record for a woman rider. Bioninic, a 1977 sorrel gelding. Greg Ward liked Thoroughbred blood in his horses, believing that the only time it hurt was when it was not there. To support his beliefs and satisfy his desire to send one of Fillinic's offspring to the track, he bred her to a Thoroughbred horse owned by long-time speed horse breeder Ed C. Allred. Doc Marcus, the stakes-winning stallion chosen by the Wards, went back to the great Man O' War twice in his pedigree, along with Blenheim II, The Tetrarch, Nearco, and Ultimis.

Beadman is certain Lonhro is the best horse he has ever ridden, telling the media several times that the horse has gears. Beadman's outstanding mounts before Lonhro included Saintly and Octagonal.
The other day at the races, 90-year-old Edgar Britt, one of Australia's all-time great jockeys, asked me whether Lonhro had any Nearco blood in him.
"Gee, he reminds me of some of the high-class Nearco horses I used to ride and ride against in Europe 50 years ago and he looks like Nearco, very much so," Britt said.
Nearco, bred in Italy by Federico Tesio at his Dormello Stud (near Milan), is one of the greatest stallions ever to stand at stud in England or anywhere else for that matter. He was unbeaten in his 14 European races.
Britt recalled the first time he saw Nearco at Martin Benson's stud near Newmarket 61 years ago during World War II.
But the £60,000 buy was not in his paddock. "Don't worry, the horse is here all right," Benson explained.
"Well, we walked about 100 yards down a deep dugout into an underground air raid shelter and there was Nearco munching hay; a beautiful horse with an Arab-shaped head, just like Lonhro," Britt said.
"A week or two later, the Germans bombed Newmarket for the first time. Nearco was out in his paddock and not in his shelter. The bombs scared him badly and they had trouble catching him.
"After a few days there was a second bombing raid but this time there was no problem. The quick-learning Nearco trotted of his own accord into his private air raid shelter. They found him there standing quietly as the bombs fell about half a mile away.
"Lonhro is a dead ringer for Nearco," Britt said.
I asked the breeding expert Les Young whether Lonhro was in fact related to the superb Tesio-bred stallion of long ago. Young answered "yes" and rattled off the sire line starting with Nearco, Royal Charger, Turn To, Sir Gaylord, Sir Ivor, Sir Tristram, Zabeel, Octagonal, Lonhro.
Eight removes and 60 years back but the deep mystery of genetic throwbacks might explain Lonhro's brilliance.
Britt noted that Nearco and his progeny had the reputation for being more intelligent than the average horse and possessed of speed rather than stamina.
John Hawkes, his senior foreman Peter Snowden and Beadman all consider Lonhro is the most intelligent horse they have ever handled.

Sein Vater Alpenkönig xx war Derbysieger und siegte in kürzester Zeit in 4 Gruppen-I-Rennen: Derby , Großer Preis von Nordrhein-Westfalen, Aral-Pokal und Großer Preis von Baden-Baden. Großvater Tamelane xx ist auch Vater von Marlon xx und Shogun xx, die in Holstein bzw. Hannover Medaillengewinner auf Olympischen Spielen stellten. Madrigal unter Karl Schulz gewann in Montreal Einzelbronze und Mannschaftssilber, Shammrock unter Matthias Baumann gewann in Seoul die Goldmedaille in der Mannschaft. Erdball xx zeugte u.a. das Weltmeisterschaftspferd Apollo unter Nick Skelton (Einzelbronze Weltmeisterschaft Aachen).

Whatever! Ik heb een hoop lol van mijn paardjes en ben trots op en blij met hun Nearco bloed Haha!

. Een derde paard met dit bloed heb ik een jaartje geleden verkocht en de koopster is ook heel blij en tevreden met hem.

Overigens heeft die "waardeloze" knol al wel een goedgekeurde zoon en heeft hij zijn test goed doorlopen.

Mooie merrie en een prima bloedlijn voor een Quarter horse! Hempen is zo'n beetje het neusje van de zalm, zeker op QH race gebied. Maar het race bloed heeft al heel vaak aangetoond ook hele goede QH performance horses te kunnen geven. Hier staan nog een paar QH merries met Nasrullah bloed:

Lucky Boy xx Born 1966, dark brown. Bred by H. Katz in 's Gravenhagen, Holland. He raced and of his 27 entries, he won 6 and ranked in the top five 10 times. He was at stud in Holland 1971-1984. He was a living legend and built his reputation in the field of breeding & top sports. As the sire of several international jumping "phenomenon's", he was considered the ambassador of the Dutch KWPN. Lucky Boy xx is described as "being a concept throughout the world". He is considered one of the best Thoroughbreds in warmblood breeding and has produced many international show jumpers. You may say he is the most important thoroughbred in KWPN. He is inbred to Pharos xx, Phalaris xx, Hurry On xx and Teddy xx.
He sired: A Lucky One, Beaujolais, Bonheur, Brown Boy, Brown Boy, Candyboy, Casanova, Columbus (sire of Incognito) , Dannyboy, Darnels, Dax, Derrik, Dutchboy, Lucky A, Lucky Bua, Naturel, Nooitgedacht, Obrecht, Octroii, Olympus, Omega, Ordonnans, Picassa della Flor, Telex, Texas, Victorie, Windsor and Zion.
Nooitgedacht is a beautiful stallion in my opinion. Even though he is bred for jumping, he won cat B in the National Stallion Competition (1982/83) in dressage. Thereafter he became the National Stallion Competition Champion in the difficult cat D, ridden by Wout Jan van der Schans. Nooitgedacht stood at stud in Sweden (Flyinge) for a few years, with very good results.
Others like Candyboy (1989/1990 - National Stallion Competition in Dressage. Winner of Indoor and Outdoor Gelderland Dressage Championships, 4th place at the National Championship, index for dressage of over 135), Dutchboy, Brownboy and Naturel, to mention a few, has done brilliant.
A lot has been said and written of Lucky Boy xx. In Sweden his progeny was very popular. I can recall a rumour (in the late 80's) that meant many of them had false papers, as you got extremely well paid for a horse with his name in the papers. True? False? I don't know.
Calypso, The Freak, Medrano, Van Gogh, Victor, Urshin, Bokilly, Brownboy, Naturel, are some of Lucky Boy offspring who won Grand Prix, World Cup's, European & World Championships, Olympics, I think that covers some of it!
Lucky Boy xx is the dam's sire of Balder, Baltimore, Beach Boy, Boston, Cocmos, Cordes-Boy-VZ, Cosmos, Creool, Daimler, Dammen (at Flyinge, Sweden, for a few lucky years!), Ditmar, Doerak, Dublin, Elberton, Elcaro, Furore, Gasperboy, Gentleman, Graham, Grand Coeur, Grandriver, Hamar, Haydn, Hercos, Highlight, Jabot, Jacomar, Jeopardy, Kanador, Karlstad, Lucky Him, Optimist, Rolex, Urban, Wellington and Zaire.

Nearco xx sired Dante xx and the amazing Neartic xx. grand or greatgrand sire of the legendary race-horses Northern Dancer, Nijinski, Nasrullah, Bold Ruler, Secretariat, ... And in showjumping, like The Rock, Hannassi, Towerlands Fire Fox, Lector, Jogger, Koh I Noor, ... all goes directly back to the Nearco xx bloodline. You also find him in Pomme Royal's pedigree.

Nu zie ik hem ja, voor wat je eruit op kan maken, lijkt het een mooi paard. Zeker jammer dat er vaak geen "statieportret" van een paard wordt geplaatst waarop je de bouw goed kan zien.

Cornelscourt's maternal grandsire is Nearula, a son of the immortal Nasrullah, a name so familiar in the pedigrees of world class jumpers and event horses. The influence of Nasrullah, and his sire Nearco, is found in more pedigrees of international sport horses than any other individual bloodline. One of Nearula's sons, Hanassi was a successful stallion in The Netherlands producing such international jumpers as Sanyo Galaxi, (H. Smith, GBR) Towerlands Foxfire (M. Pyrrah, GBR) and the international event horse Oran.

Silbersee (Silver Matal xx - Cibelle) was an international showjumper in the 1980s. He was German Champion, won the Aachen Grand Prix, the Hamburg Derby, the Grand Prix of Sweden, the Grand Prix of Denmark and was in the World Cup four times.

Many people count Silvester (Silbersee-Fantus?) as Silbersee's best son. Silvester died fairly young and so didn't produce many offspring. Another son, Solid Silver, stood in the U.S. and had a good show jumping career. Some of his offspring can be found in the States and in Canada.

Zullen we Anna42 verder maar gewoon negeren, want hij/zij komt altijd maar weer met hetzelfde stokpaardje?! Beetje vermoeiend ondertussen. We zitten hier helemaal niet de Volbloed te verkopen als het meest ideale dressuur en/of springpaard, ik probeer alleen de lijn van Nearco/Nasrullah te belichten, een lijn die in mijn ogen fantastisch is en zeer veel opduikt. Ik wilde de enorme diversiteit van deze bloedlijn belichten en hoe enorm vaak deze lijn voor komt. Het bloed komt voor bij paarden van het K.W.P.N., Holsteiners, Trakehners, Selle Francais, Oldenburgers, Paint horses, Appaloosa's en Quarter horses en misschien wel meer rassen. Bij springpaarden, dressuurpaarden, eventers, stockhorses, barrel racers, kwart mijl racers, polo paarden, hunters en noem maar op. Hoeveel bloedlijnen zijn er zo enorm divers dat ze zo vaak en voor zulke verschillende doeleinden worden ingezet?? Heel apart toch?
