uiteindelijk blijf je toch aankl*ten met windows 98. ik zou kiezen voor w2k of als je pc het aan kan, windows xp pro.

nou win9x is inderdaad sowieso probleem. mee eens. win98 is praktisch history in de pc wereld.

je kan via windows update kijken of er patches zijn die je nodig hebt, margreet. maar uiteindelijk loop je tegen meer van dit soort spul aan als je win98 blijft gebruiken.

oplossen met windows9x is altijd oplossen tot je iets nieuws wilt. Lachen

even verder nog, kan je niet eens je pc aanzetten (power erop) of is het windows opstarten?

ok dan is het echt een os probleem. ik zat nog even aan stroomvoorziening te denken omdat usb nog wel wat power pakt.

schiet me nu te binnen dat usb hubs pas vanaf win98 SE echt lekker worden ondersteund. misschien is dat het probleem.

Resolution
Windows 95 OSR 2.1 and OSR 2.5 provides basic USB support that was developed as the technology was first emerging. Based on today's more mature USB technology, there are a number of limitations with USB support in Windows 95 OSR 2.1 and Windows 95 OSR 2.5.

These limitations were addressed in Microsoft Windows 98 and carried forward to Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition. Addressing these limitations required several architectural changes that are not portable back to Windows 95 OSR 2.1 or Windows 95 OSR 2.5.

Microsoft recommends that customers who require a more robust USB environment upgrade to Windows 98 or Windows 98 Second Edition.
