Ode aan Reverans

Vandaag wordt het paard van een vriendin van mij ingeslapen.Ze heeft hem ongeveer twee jaar gehad en er erg veel mee bereikt.Helaas is ze er kort geleden achter gekomen dat zijn pezen helemaal kapot waren.Zowel voor als achter.Vraag me niet hoe dat gebeurt kan zijn,want dat weet niemand.De dierenarts gaf geen hoop meer,en ook Utrecht bevestigde dat bange vermoeden.En vandaag(maandag)wordt hij dan toch ingeslapen.Hij was nog ontzettend jong en had nog een heel leven voor zich.Een aantal weken geleden leek er nog geen vuiltje aan de lucht,en zometeen is hij er gewoon niet meer.Het klinkt allemaal nog erg onwerkelijk.
Ik wou jullie allemaal vragen om een woord van steun of een mooi gedichtje te plaatsen,zodat het verlies van een heel bijzonder paard misschien ietsje lichter gedragen kan woorden..

huil niet om me,omdat ik die maandag van je ben weggegaan.
Je mag verdrietig zijn,maar niet te lang,
om het zachtjes wegvliegen van mijn geest.
Ik heb vrede,mijn geest heeft rust.
Tranen zijn niet nodig,want ik was zo begenadigd door jouw liefde.
Die heerlijke jaren dat ik bij je was.
Er is geen pijn,ik lijd niet meer.
Haal die dingen uit je gedachten.
In je herinnering en in je hart zal ik voortleven.
Herinner je niet mijn gevecht om vertrouwen.

Als je van de dierenarts hoort:
Dit komt nooit meer goed,
hij krijgt steeds meer pijn.
Mag je dan omdat je hem niet wilt missen,
Egoistisch zijn??

Als 2 lieve bruine ogen zich sluiten gaan,voorgoed.
En je voortaan zonder hem weer verder moet.
Met zijn halster nog in je hand,
en je hart vol met pijn
Probeer jezelf dan te overtuigen:
Ik mocht niet egoistisch zijn..

Al die tijd samen,
Elke dag was weer een feest..
En in al die tijd,
Jij,hijzelf..
Geen enkele keer Egoistisch geweest...

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Ik wens jou en je vriendin heel veel sterkte. Ik weet geen gedicht, maar ik weet wel hoe het is om je allerbeste maatje te moeten verliezen en ook zo plotseling. Wij hebben vorig jaar 2 pony's moeten laten inslapen door een beenbreuk. Van het ene op het andere moment waren zij ook weg.
Mooie gedichten heb je trouwens neergezet Lachen

Rainbowbridge is wel erg pakkend en mooi... veel sterkte beide...
